Awesome Cage
I had to leave a review because this cage is seriously awesome. Easy to put together, we had no problems with the wheels. Everything is perfect.

Needs another shelf and better instructions;
This is a great midsize cage for the wild babies I rehab. It's not terribly robust, but it was pretty well machined and (once I figured out the instructions) relatively easy to put together. I got it on sale and am happy enough with it.Still there are some significant issues:1) When I moved the box (before opening it) I could hear grit or dirt cascading inside. I don't know if it was metal bits or insect eggs/droppings. Whatever it was, it was everywhere and I really had to bang and tilt each piece to make sure it was all out. You can see what the grit looked like in the picture.2) The instructions are dreadful. I've put together a lot of flat-pack items -- including animal cages. These were among the worst instructions.3) The litter tray sits ON TOP of the metal bottom grate, not below it. (They do say that in the description, but I didn't notice because I've never seen a cage this big where that was the case.) While it's "good for their feet," it means you have to put their food and bed on the one provided shelf or use food bowls attached to the cage walls. And it means the fabric cover for the ramp will be sitting on the bathroom level. I'd much prefer the litter tray below the bottom grate (which can then be strategically covered so they only occasionally have to walk on the grate). Alternatively, they could include a second shelf would allow food to be placed above the litter level. Or make the provided shelf larger.4) Both access doors are on the same end of the cage, meaning the other end is a struggle to reach.5) I wish the lock on the clean-out door had a longer piece securing it. (see pic)6) The bottom grate just rests on the side braces, which I'm not thrilled about. (metal zip ties will take care of it, though)I will make it work and am fairly happy with the purchase. Not thrilled, but it's good enough. I might buy it again, but I would definitely look for an alternative cage first.

Day 1 - looks solid
The cage arrived today, my 11yo and 13yo assembled it. They didn’t have any problems. The cage feels solid and the doors work great

Brittle, and Amazon support has become a joke
After I got the cage assembled I started to roll it across the room, but as it went over the little transition strip between the kitchen and living room floors the wheel snapped off. A thick metal bolt just snapped. I contacted the manufacturer and they offered to send me a new wheel, but I can't get the broken bolt out of the frame, so that is no solution.So I then contacted Amazon. They told me I could return it for a refund or replacement, but to do that I would have to put it back in the box. The cage was not designed to be taken apart again after it was assembled, and it is not an easy task. I have stripped and/or broken bolts, bent the frame in multiple places, and injured myself in the process. I told the Amazon support rep that getting it apart and back in the box was an unreasonable expectation, but they refused to give me any other reasonable options. Either return it in the box it came in -bent, broken and bloody- or take a tiny partial refund worth less than a third of the cost of the item. It is insulting.

Great cage for the price, with a few minor flaws.
Pros:• Easy to assemble with easy to follow instructions.• Sturdy.• Decent size - looks bigger in person than the other review videos and pictures.Cons:• It came with paint chipping off and some paint bubbling up, which I worry about my pet rat ingesting.• The plastic trays are quite flimsy, so we’ll see how long they last.• The side door lock wouldn’t latch because the piece it was supposed to go over comes out too far, and therefore was in the way of the lock. I had to loosen a screw in order for the lock to go over the latch. Pictures show what I mean.• One of the bottom side pieces came pretty severely bent. It is a piece to hold the bottom part of the cage in. It does still work, I just hope it doesn’t cause issues in the future.All in all this is a great cage for its price, and maybe finding a pet safe paint and sealant would fix the chipping paint problem.

Love it!
Best cage for my dwarf bunny. Easy to put together by yourself. Only took about 30 minutes. Directions are easy to follow. Best of all, my baby bunny loves it and can use the stairs effortlessly due to the cloth cover on the stairs.
