About Suicide: 50 Ways to Kill Yourself

This is a scam book
This is a book with a catchy title and this is all. I bought this expecting something humorous to help me how others might come to understand suicide ideation through comedy. There aren't 50 ways as implied by the title, rather there are 16. They are all written like they are recipes with a conclusion and it is vague at best and nonsensical at worst. It could have been an AI written book with some minor editing from a human but its just a terrible buy that I finished it in 25 mins and sat for a further 10 minutes trying to understand what I had just read. While there is some useful information scattered in between in terms of contacting help lines, but overall this feels like a quick cash attempt. I right with contempt as you can tell, but this book actually annoyed me! :o

Instruction unclear
Well it was kinda funny, but there were only 16 Different ways, not 50. Kinda disappointing.

To my delight, what I found inside was not a collection ...
As previous reviewers have stated, I was originally completely unsure of what to expect given the title. To my delight, what I found inside was not a collection of suicide encouragement recipes but a series of 50 comedic vignette poems highlighting the realities of life that can induce stress, depression, and suicidal thoughts. The book concludes with an explanation of these three mental issues and ways to cope. It truly was a great read and I 110% recommend this book. If you're on the fence about buying it, just do it. The Kindle version costs less than a cup of coffee from Starbucks.

It's good if you like bad jokes
The introduction was okay but everything after that was lame. I knew the book would be full of jokes instead of ways to kill yourself but there were only 16 "ways to kill yourself" and all of the jokes were bad. After the author ran out of jokes, he filled the remaining pages with information about suicide and mental illness. I appreciate that he tried to spread awareness, but the information felt like it was copied straight out of whatever source he was using and it felt very out of touch
