I decided to buy this Khadlaj fragrance because I already own their Empire Victor, which I absolutely love. So, based on the reviews, I took a leap of faith and bought this one blind. ​To be honest, I'm not familiar with Montale’s Arabians Tonka specifically, but I own many other fragrances from Montale and Mancera, so this scent profile is very familiar to me. ​Khadlaj Karus Secret Musk opens up like Baccarat Rouge 540 or Montale Sensual Instinct right off the bat, you get distinct notes of iodine, bandages, a hospital vibe, and burnt sugar. I personally love this genre. As the iodine note fades, it turns into something very reminiscent of Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille. There isn't an actual tobacco note listed in the pyramid, but you can definitely sense it thanks to the spices, smokiness, and tonka bean. ​That Tobacco Vanille phase passes fairly quickly in about 5 to 7 minutes and then the fragrance settles into Mancera's Roses Vanille. I actually own all three of these perfumes, and Roses Vanille was my signature go-to scent for nearly 10 years, so I know its drydown inside out. On the skin, Khadlaj Karus Secret Musk ends up smelling like Mancera’s smoky, vanillic rose sitting on a subtle bed of iodine. You basically get that beautiful rose-vanilla DNA with an airy, iodized backdrop. ​The fragrance is incredibly smooth with seamless transitions, and it’s not loud or screechy at all. If you enjoy the vibe of Mancera-style rose, warm spices, and medical/iodine notes, you’re going to love this just as much as I do. Updating my review: After letting the bottle sit for a couple of days, it now opens up like a chocolatey Baccarat Rouge.

Second bottle. I needed a back up,. Best dupe I’ve ever had of Montale Arabian tonka. This fragrance lasts hours and is great for layering with other fragrances especially vanillas or floral scents.

Absolutely stunning- rose, citrus,saffron,chocolate and musk. This is masterpiece. Unisex but leans feminine. Khadilaj is my absolute favorite of affordable ME perfume houses. I've also ordered a couple of times from Safa Gifts and they are fast and professional with their shipping, and the products I've ordered have been authentic and fresh🙂

L'odeur est très très similaire au parfum Montale Arabiens Tonka pour un si bon prix. Je recommande vivement.
