Fantastic racket for the advanced player
I bought two of these rackets around 8 months ago and have played about 10 hours a week every week, so I know this racket fully. The balanced weight distribution allows for very quick movements for volleys, and also makes it much easier to 'hold' your shots and add be deceptive as s***. The power is good, however this is partly because of the light frame, allowing a very high swing speed. This means your timing has to be fantastic, which leads to my next point:Only consider this racket if you are an intermediate to advanced player, ie. you play in county divisions 5 or higher. Yes it's incredibly manoeuvrable with great power and feel, but if your timing is not perfect, or if you miss the small sweet spot, the ball will go anywhere, and with very little power. The 130 is very similar, but when swinging you can feel the weight difference. It seems to be a lot more forgiving than the 125, and is therefore better for those without a consistent strike. It does feel a lot slower than the 125 so it is better for the driving game, rather than the front of the court volley game which I choose. You need to remember that the 125 was designed for Mohamed Elshorbagy's style of play. The strings it comes with are good, but not my cup of tea.I don't know about the stock grip, as this is removed the minute I take the packaging off. These are very durable rackets, allowing you to be confident and incredibly attacking. I have finally cracked one, when going for a powerful volley when the ball is right on the rails. It's my own stupid fault, but the racket has had plenty of rough treatment getting the ball out of corners, so considering the amount I play, these things are very tough.

Quality racket, combining power and a light touch
Happy with racket. I have for many years stuck with the original 130 carboflex (which is bullet proof, and still much loved by many squash players) but wanted something that was a little lighter overall and, importantly, lighter in the head. I have tried out a dozen rackets of different types and brands and have now chosen this one, the Carboflex 125. It feels MUCH more than 5 grams lighted than the 130 - I really feel I can play reaction shots and lobs where I am having to "reach" much better. There is a slight bit of flex in the racket in comparison to something super-firm like the 130 but that still makes it pretty rigid compared to most rackets. The power is still there - which was important to me. I like the conservative look of this racket compared to the patterns on some of Tecnifibre's other rackets. I am still not convinced by the new top of the range black strings, I think perhaps I still like the green ones more. And one other thing, something that is not important to me because I dont really use them - the cover that comes with it is rubbish, its made from material that is similar to those reusable supermarket bags, really flimsy. Surely Tecnifibre should provide something better. Overall, I would highly recommend this racket, and feel it would be suitable for a wide range of players.

The don of squash rackets
This racket is almost impossible to fault.I've used this racket for about 6 months now, and it's stood the test of time beautifully. Other than having to replace the strings once, which is normal, it's still going strong. It's much tougher than many other rackets I've used.It has a brilliant balance, it's easy to manoeuvre, you can get a fairly decent amount of power behind it, and it's helped me play nice accurate shots too.I'm only a club level player, but it's been a joy to use. I can't say it's made me a better player, realistically a racket would never do that (if anybody knows of one, please tell me!), but overall it's a nice racket to use, that's not showing any signs of damage even after extensive use.

You wont be disappointed.
Bought this due to the fact that my Head Graphene Xenon 135 lasted about 2 months and then snapped on the top. This is an excellent racket. Lots and lots of power but the 305 strings give it a very light touch as well. Slightly head-heavy in balance, which is how i like it and, so far, im loving this racket. Some reviewers have said that the sweet spot is a lot smaller. I would say that its the same. Although, perhaps its a similar sweet spot to my old head so im used to it. Another reviewer mentioned that its only for advanced intermediates and above. I woudlnt say that. I am an advanced intermediate but I gave the racket to a beginner and they had a few games and didnt have a problem with it. absolutely loved it and went and bought one in fact. As for longevity, i cant comment as ive only had it for 2 weeks and about 15 matches. Ill update if there are any issues though.

Good, simple racquet
My 42-year-old Bancroft Executive "glass-powered" squash racquet with bamboo shaft finally gave up the ghost. This replacement is a different beast -- much lighter. Different feel, but it works well.
