The Very Hungry Worry Monsters: Mood-O-Meter

Books that help label emotions and get children talking about how they feel are so important. We loved the interactive element of the spinner that points to the different monster emotions. There's plenty of great talking points to discuss feelings and I particularly liked that the book recognised that two people can have very different feelings about the same thing - for example - a rollercoaster ride.The illustrations are bright, engaging and fun. My daughter loved that one of the monsters was in a wheelchair. It's so important to her to see this sort of representation in books that she reads.
