Casio Mtpv001l7b Watch One Size, White, Strap.

Its a good watch the exact style i was looking for. A little smaller than expect but bare in mind i'm a big wrister at 8.5inch. The strap is on its last adjustmant but for smaller normal wrist the adjustability will be good by the number of holes. Ease of use is very simple to use. No problems with the water resistance, washing up, rain, etc. A good watch.

This is a lovely watch which deserves to be accurately described. Thickness 9mm, Diameter 38mm, Weight 45grms. I dispensed with the plastic strap, its not leather, and i fitted a leather one. I can recommend the Spolife watch bands available on Amazon, they come complete with a tool to remove and fit straps, and are available for under £10. For less than £40 you have a pleasing and accurate timepiece. The only negative i found is that the time can be difficult to read in some lights as the hands are silver, the same as the background.

This watch would be worth it at twice the price.

I really did want to love this watch, it feels solidly built and Casio are a great company, but the silver hands against a silver face are a little harder to read than I would like, especially if you are in bright light. Basically this is a really nice watch spoiled by a moronic styling choice.

I really enjoy this timepiece. I swapped the original band for a brown leather strap for a more casual look and complements the silver dial perfectly. While some have mentioned difficulty reading the time due to the monochromatic theme, I haven’t found visibility to be an issue. The play of light and shadow highlights the hands so well that a quick glance is all you need to tell the time accurately.

Let me preface this by saying I would give 4.5 stars if I could. This watch is great for only costing ~ $20.00. I love the silver dial, although some complained it wasn't white as it appears in the product picture. Its a basic watch. It tells time & that's it. Some lume would be nice, but its not a deal killer. Its a clean, simple & elegant design. Some comments on specs: - case is 38mm, not 42mm as listed in watch information (it actually says both). - lug width is 20mm. Keep this in mind when replacing the strap (not 18mm). - lense is mineral crystal, not hardlex. Hardlex is Seiko's proprietary material. By the way, a crystal lense at this cost is very nice indeed. - case back is snap on, so battery replacement can be a bit of a pain. - Strap is vinyl, not leather. The strap on this watch is the one negative. Its crap. I wasn't expecting leather at this price so its not that surprising, but a typical resin strap would be an improvement. I swapped the vinyl for a NATO "Bond" strap & it looks SO much better....which makes this a $30.00 watch. Well worth it. I swam for about a half hour & the water resistance is accurate. Casio seems to punch above it's weight class in this area. No worries there. Casio is still King when it comes to accurate, affordable watches & this is no exception. Buy with confidence.
