GREAT CASTING NET!!!
Item is great. Really like the quality and very heavy duty. Also, like the bucket it comes with. Great for storage and keeping the space around you clean when packing up. I would recommend any who read this and looking for a casting net to surely consider this one. You wouldn't be disappointed. Thanks for the casting net I'm really enjoying it.

Good net
Received and,open container the net was used and,had feathers a d leaves un itI figure He couldn't throw it and sent it back. It was,the last one so I just left it. Good news with a,good,spread over a school of small bait fish you might need help lifting it up. 1/4" mesh.

Nicely made castnet, includes quality case
My old castnet died - it dry-rotted and half of what I caught in it fell out as I drew it in. This replacement has been doing the trick nicely . The netting appears to be a higher-test line than the store-bought one I was using prior. Also comes with a nice bucket-style storage/carrying case.

Lightweight Great for Kids
My husband is very experienced throwing a cast net. This net is as advertised, lightweight, opens well, a great net for teaching kids and beginners. It has a nice floating foam wrist cuff that should the net be accidently dropped into water, it can be retrieved. He tested in the lake behind the house and caught several species of small fish.A negative point, the included needle, that I assume is for repairing rips in the net, is a nice feature. However, there were no instructions as to how to use it. For example, knots to use, how to stitch up different sized rips etc. Perhaps you tube will help. Over time, eventually you will have a snag that rips a cast net, so having a needle is nice. He has always just used a regular needle for repairing his nets.Looking forward to the grandkids coming over and learning with this net. My other nets were too large and heavy for them to throw.
