Bat Grip for Baseball & Softball, Precut Bat Tape – Wrap Your Bat

This “grip” was basically a piece of cloth I could have pulled a piece of underwear out of my drawer, cut in strips and wrapped the bat better. There was a small piece of tape to finish it and attach the grip to, but most grip tapes have a small piece of double sided tape to attach to the grip and then to the bat while you wrap the bat. It was just a piece of stripped cloth a half inch or so wide and that was it.

This bat grip does the job, but I personally think that the grip tape is not as "grippy" as other brands are. Compared to bigger brands, it does not have as much thicnkness/padding to it and doesnt feel as grippy. Application was still very simple and easy but there are better grips out there for more advanced players. These grips are good enough though for youth players or the casual player.

As another reviewer said this is not really a grip and is just glorified strips of materials. The one I reviewed had white and black colors but only a single piece of tape that is supposed to hold it to the bat. That is not what happened. After two swings it was a balled-up mess. I couldn’t imagine if it was being used for anything slightly like a real game because I bet sweaty hands and anything other than babying it (like I did) would cause this thing to become an airborne projectile. The material was fine and at least seemed like what I would expect on a bat, but with no real way for it to attach, I'd call this an… out.

This wrap will NOT stay in place. It's not adhesive on one side (as bat wrap should be), nor is it stretchy for wrapping tight, around a bat barrel at the correct angle. We couldn't use this at all.

I order this item for my 2 daughter’s softball bats. The Black, Blue, Pink and White. The product is really thin, could be more thicker. Length is ok. Soft touch. Over all the product is fine specifically for the price. I would buy again.
