I recommend it
Works nice, compact and light, battery lasts well. It is very flexible, and this may be helpful or harmful depending on you needs.

Best portable keyboard I've found so far (as of September 2024)
I like that the size and design makes it feel more like a folding full-sized keyboard. I was able to pick up the ergo layout quite quickly and it feels great when I type on it. The keys themselves feel nice and the travel they have is decent. Key actuation is accurate, soft and feel like Logi's MX mini keyboard. It's also much quieter than other folding keyboards because it has a "leather" housing rather than the folding mechanisms and complex hinges that others use. I've owned several portable keyboards and I can never type fast on them because their smaller size doesn't match my muscle memory. Using those keyboards for an extended period of time was something I would avoid. The design of this keyboard mitigates that issue. It did take me a few minutes to adjust to the ergo layout but it feels natural. My only concern lies with the "leather" hinge that could potentially wear over time. I wish ProtoArc would have included a case for this keyboard since that would help protect the hinge when on the go. Luckily, one of the cases I had for another folding keyboard fit. I intend to throw this into my daily use backpack. I will report back if I notice any issues, degradation, or wear that I find concerning. I've been using this with my Steam Deck and my iPad and it's worked extremely well. Overall really happy with this purchase so far. Pros: - Turns on immediately after you open it; remembers last device (1-3) used - Keys don't feel cheap like other folding keyboards - Less noise overall especially while typing; keys don't "chatter" like on other keyboards - No issues with keys not activating when pressed with reasonable force - No complex hinges or moving parts Cons: - No case was included - "leather" hinge could wear down with age

Excellent travel keyboard, but the function keys can be tricky
I love this keyboard. It's lightweight, folds up nicely for travel, and the ergonomic V shape is very comfortable to type on. I was having wrist pain with a traditional keyboard, and this setup puts my hands in a much more comfortable position. I noticed a significant improvement in my wrist while using it. My one issue is with the function keys. There isn't a traditional row of dedicated F1 through F12 keys across the top. Instead, the function keys share keys with numbers and other commands, so accessing something like F7 requires pressing a combination of keys. Normally that wouldn't bother me much, but I was using this keyboard while studying for an exam and needed certain function key combinations. I ran into a situation where I needed Shift+F7, but activating F7 already required multiple keys. At that point it became more hassle than I wanted to deal with. I ended up buying another keyboard with traditional function keys specifically for studying. That doesn't mean I'm giving this one up, though. I still love it for traveling. It's comfortable, lightweight, compact, and easy to pack. If you rarely use function keys, you may never care about this limitation. If you regularly use F key combinations for work, studying, or certain software, it's something I'd consider before buying.

Best keyboard!
This is the best keyboard i've used possibly ever? It folds nice and flat, so easy to set aside if I need my desk space. it's more comfortable to type as well. The only drawback would be if you have a PC and not a Mac (I have a mac). I haven't had any issues with bluetooth connectivity or battery dying either. The charge actually lasts a long time, and I don't even know how long because I charge it every couple of weeks to make sure it doesn't run out of charge while I'm using it.

Love it, so slim. It fits with my computer.
I just slide in my backpack with my computer, fits in that back sleeve. It is awesome, works really well via Bluetooth. I have had it for like a year and it still works.

Perfect Solution - Protoarc XK03
I am legally blind, and typing on a phone or tablet is problematic. Using google speech to text is great, but you always have situations where that's not appropriate or feasible. Years ago, I tried to use an expensive Belkin BT keyboard, but it was uncomfortable and not very tactile, and to me, unusable. I gave up on the idea of BT keyboards for a few years, until just the other day. I saw reviews of this ProtoArc XK03, so I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. This thing is LIGHT YEARS better than my initial experience with BT keyboards. Not only does this not cramp your fingers into a tiny space, the key travel is actually decent. More like a laptop keyboard. The printed text on the keycaps is very legible, and I had no problem finding what I needed very quickly. They even have bumps on the F and J keys, as it should be. Very helpful for touch-typists. There's no F1 - F12 row, but if you want to hit one of those, hit FN and one of the keys on the number row. There's both WIN and OPTION keys, to satisfy both Mac and PC users. The backspace key doubles as a DEL key, and the arrow keys do HOME, END, PGUP, PGDN etc. ...and as silly as this is to say, yes it has an ESC key. (many BT keyboards do not.) It supports up to 3 devices, so I have my phone, tablet and Xbox paired up with it. Have you ever tried entering strings of text with an Xbox controller? It's maddening. I have not done any typing tests with this yet, but I imagine it's not going to be much slower than a normal desktop keyboard. The keys feel that good. I also love that it turns itself on when you open it up, and shuts itself off when you close it. Nice touch. Anyway, enough rambling. Good job, ProtoArc.

EXCELLENT Folding keyboard
Let me start by saying I would absolutely buy this keyboard again. It packs up well, has great travel to the keys, lays flat which suits my ergonomic preferences, and it remembers THREE devices and a rapidly switches between them. I use it on my work PC, Android phone, and my personal PC. It lives in my backpack and I've used it nearly every single day for over 6 months now. Battery life is excellent at well over two weeks per charge with HEAVY daily use. I only have two negatives: It absolutely needs a dedicated delete key and the navigation arrows are comically small. Other than these two minor gripes, I have no notes.

Lovable lil’ guy
Amended review 1/6/2026: The TAB key stopped working in November followed closely by the left space bar. I tried to remove the keys to clean underneath in case dust was the problem but they would not pop back in place no matter what I did. I ordered a replacement keyboard but it shouldn’t have worn out that quickly. I am gentle with my devices, I never dropped the keyboard, kept it clean, put it in a protective case when traveling, etc. so I am disappointed. ——————- This a very lovable little keyboard! It connects easily via Bluetooth and will remember 3 devices. The battery life is fantastic, I use it for days at a time of full-time work between charges. It’s quiet and low profile and feels roomy for such a small size. The keys were almost too widely spaced for my lady hands but I adapted quickly. It’s highly portable, being about the size of a thin paperback book when it’s folded. It has a gentle magnetic closure. The texture of the backing material is leather-like and prevents slippage on a desktop. It arrives neatly packaged with a relatively sophisticated box and sleeve. The quality is impressive for the price. Suitable for gift giving, if you need a practical gift for someone on the go. My only complaint is the ESC button - the blue accent mark looks like a defect. It drove me crazy at first but I’ve learned to ignore it. Pictured in photo. [I’m shopping the ProtoArc store again now because I’m so pleased with this product. What I really need is a portable ergonomic keyboard with backlighting and a detachable keypad and touchpad. Is that too much to ask…? Help me, ProtoArc!]

Amazing quality product
This keyboard is amazing, it is light and portable, looks small but once you open it up, feels like a full size keyboard. The keys are responsive and easy to press, pairing with both my Dell laptop and my iPhone was a breeze. I am so glad I now have the option to use an ergonomic keyboard when I travel for work, to save the pain in my wrists from typing on a regular keyboard. Also, the quality seems great, and the packing adds a nice touch. It felt like I was unboxing an Apple product, you get a nice card from the owner, and the phone stand which I use more than I thought I would, since I can easily switch the pairing from laptop to phone. Even greater, it comes with 2 years warranty. You can’t go wrong!

Love this ergo keyboard!
Love this ergonomic keyboard! I got this since return to office resumed after covid and we had to hotel desks. I didn't want to carry my regular large ergonomic keyboard to and from everyday, this was the perfect compromise! Folds to a small size, very portable and lightweight. I just miss the number pad, and the lower function keys need to press func and shift to toggle to the 2nd option. I constantly lock my computer when trying to take a screenshot (the next button beside it.)

Very good with a very small flaw (to me)
I love it. It will be useful on my next trip. I just think there should be a way to raise it. If I put my small mouse (LogiM240) under, it gives the keyboard a nice angle that is much more comfortable… but well, I need my mouse so I have to find something else to raise the keyboard. It’s the only downside for me. Other than that, it’s clean, small, lightweight and work perfectly.

Thin and Light
Super convenient for travel! Size of the pocket notebook. Thin and light and the typing experience is pretty good!

Great for on-the-go
I’m a hybrid worker but really need an ergo keyboard. Until purchasing this I was taking my big keyboard back and forth to the office, and would often forget it at one place or another. Never mind that it’s bulky and awkward to transport. This is a great option for on the go! Love that it connects immediately, is a nice ergonomic shape, is super slim and folds up. Super easy to thrown in the bag. It took me a couple of days to get used to the positioning of the keys. Very happy with this purchase!
