Pitau Holster for iPhone Se, 8, 7, 6s, 6 – Rugged Nylon Cell Phone Belt Holder for Men, Case with Belt Clip, Carrying Pouch Fits Cover, Black

It fits my iPhone 13 mini with a minimal/thin case very nicely. It could be just a tad big for the bare phone but I have such a minimal case, should be fine. (I tried another holster which said it would fit but the phone rattled around in it.) I have only had it a day so cannot yet speak to its durability. Velcro closure works very well. Am on the fence about the "plastic" belt clip (however some commercial airplanes are no longer metal skins so if the right material should be OK). Last two holsters had metal clips. On the first one the rivets holding it in place gave way, most recent one still working but the clip has opened up and judicious use of the vise didn't really help much (can't put too much pressure on lest the clip totally flatten). Time will tell how it holds up but looks and feels like it is well made.

It isn't indestructible, but is a lot more heavy duty than most other pouches like it. The flap fastens with Velcro hook and loop fabric. This means several things, but the two most important being don't get the Velcro dirty, and it starts to lose gripping strength as time passes and depending upon how much you open and close the flap wearing the pouch. At least it isn't useless when the magnet falls out like some pouch flaps have. The only complaint I have about this product is that I wish the belt clip let the pouch be horizontal instead of vertical. The iPhone 7 is awkwardly long when sitting down, or wearing a seatbelt while driving. Having the pouch horizontal would be more comfortable, depending upon where you wear it on your belt. Can't please everybody every time I suppose. This pouch does fit the iPhone 7 though, I was expecting it not to fit as well as it does.

I work in construction, so having my phone both protected and easy to access is a must. This holster fits my phone with a bulky case on it, which is a huge plus. It has a nice, snug fit — secure without being too tight — and I can grab my phone quickly when I need it. It sits well on my belt and doesn’t shift around or feel like it’s going to fall off while I’m moving. It’s held up well so far through long days and rough conditions, and I appreciate the straightforward, no-fuss design.

PiTau update 2025.09.19 I first bought this cell phone holster in May of 2021. (review below). I like this cell holster a lot and am buying another because of the good fit, durability and security belt clip. I still use the original, but I wanted this backup just in case. The PiTau I now give 5 stars because of the named above reasons. My earlier review was four stars based on the cited BOMEA mixup. So yes, I would definitely buy the PiTau Holster again. I really like the fact that the belt clip has an extra lip that keeps it from falling off my belt accidentally . I frequently use this PiTau Holster clipped to my PFD (personal flotation device) when kayaking. That's how much I trust the belt clip security. It has never come off my belt accidentally. And, of course I would buy it again. Four years of heavy use is not a bad record. PiTau 2021.05.17 (4 star review based on the "BOMEA" confusion below) What I purchased was a PiTau case for an iPhone 2020 SE. The PiTau case is very nice. It fits the iPhone 2020 SE very well. I have worn it a bunch since I received and I am very happy with the purchase. I would buy another without question. BOEMA My purchase history shows that I ordered and bought a BOEMA. What I did was reordered the PiTau, but the second time I received a BOEMA. So I can't help but compare the two. Between the two, the PiTau is the superior product for my iPhone SE. Example, the fit of the BOEMA is much snugger. One has to sort of force the iPhone into the case, which is not that difficult since the edges of the BOEMA case are elastic. I was disappointed with the BOEMA on three points: 1. Very snug going in means very snug coming out. Sometimes a bit of a struggle. 2. The belt clip is metal. It's an enamaled steel, but I would prefer something that can't rust. 3. The PiTau, on the belt clip has a unique reverse lip. What this does is, once the clip is slid over your belt, the reverse lip catches and makes it difficult for someone else to slip it off your belt should the opportunity present itself. This subtile design difference is a very thoughtful security improvement. The BOEMA's metal clip has no such protection. I would definitely buy the PiTau again. I would not by the BOMEA again for the three above reasons. CAUTION - When searching for PiTau, the search result brings you to a product advertised as a PiTau. The writeup is the of the PiTau. The images are that of BOMEA. In my case, the first purchase I received the PiTau (the better product). When ordering the second, duplicate cell phone holster, I received the BOMEA. Sort of a came of chance in attempting to get what you want. Finve Stars for the PiTau. Three Stars for the BOMEA. Thus the overall four star rating (average of the two).

Just received the case. To be clear, this is the Bomea item/model VP08-IP647XLBK. I read some reviews that made me question if it would really fit my phone. Not sure if they were reviews for a different model or what, but the case I received fits my phone with the Defender case perfectly. Since I just received it I can't speak to durability or functionality over time, but it seems to be well made. Also, not sure about different belt widths, but the clip is very robust (granted it's new) and almost difficult to pull off, so no concerns about accidentally bumping or pulling it off when removing the phone. The multiple attaching options (belt clip, belt loop vertical and horizontal) are a plus. The only 2 things I would have liked better would be a more completely enclosed case and if the clip and vertical loop didn't ride so high up into my side when sitting. So I'm using the horizontal loop which is quite comfortable.

I have owned my PiTau for just short of a year now, and the Velcro is miserable. It has continued to degrade to the point where the flap will rarely actually stick to the holster; I have sandals that are 6 years old and still have better Velcro. Other than the Velcro issue, the holster itself is nice. Sturdy and semi-elastic construction ensures it will hold and fit many model of smartphones, the only issue there being it doesn’t snugly fit my iPhone 7. If you are concerned about this accessory efficiently containing your phone, please refrain from using it long-term, the Velcro will fail.

It is a very good quality product with a perfect fit for iPhone 14 Pro. And it protects the phone perfectly and fits very tightly on the belt. As mentioned - it can be worn horizontal or vertical (vertical can be with clip or loop) I only feel price can be slightly lower otherwise it is a good buy. 👍🏽

Seems to be well made and hopefully durable! Bit on the stiff side but a small price to pay if its durable
