This is what it is, ie a hefty chunk of metal. But it does exactly what it is supposed to in adding extra stability to your spinning record reducing vibration and consequently maximising sound quality. It is neatly made and sits nicely over the label with no interference to the tone arm.One point of note, on my Rega P2, it is too tall to close the dust lid while the record is playing.

Does exactly what it is supposed to. A decent improvement in sound quality. Overall sound became tighter and separation between instruments more pronounced. Good product.

It’s for a gift

Nice heavy piece of aluminium with a felt pad on the base. Wide enough to do its job but clear of the playing arm & cartridge on the final track. Sits about 5mm below the decks dust cover when closed. Looks subtly cool.

Very nice addition to my turntable , very heavy but can't help feel it's a little over priced

So far so good. There is no movement and that makes me feel confident about playing my LPs...

The weight was heavier than expected but there is nothing wrong with that because it works nicely! Stops the vibrations and flattens the vinyl nicely!

Very well balanced, felt protects the more clumsy of us against damaging disc labels, affordable and effective. If you're looking for a good solid weight (NOT clamp) to add increased mass to your platter for more consistent revolution speed that will also provide vibration dampening and some minor warped disc correction that won't break the bank, look no farther. This is a well made, quality product that fills its intended role admirably and affordably.No, this probably won't fit under your dust cover with enough clearance to allow it to be closed while the weight is in use, but I honestly don't understand that as a negative. It's a handsome and functional addition to an in-use turntable, and closing the dust cover during operation only serves to amplify motor rumble/noise so it really should be a non-issue but I suppose it is left to personal preference. Give it a shot though, with any kind of volume level and a somewhat sensitive cartridge, you'll be able to hear the difference open vs. closed.Do please note however, this weight is machined to the specification of modern turntable spindles for an accurate fit, some 'vintage' (jeez I hate that term) tts may possess a spindle too large to allow this weight to fit with the (welcome) trade-off that it will fit modern standardized spindles without give or wobble.

This weight is very high quality and looks amazing on my Audio Technica LP-7. Looks like it was made for my record player. Plus it fits perfectly with the dust cover on! Excellent product and I’m very happy with my purchase
