The back doesn't adjust, except to recline or sit straight. I found that this was not exactly what I thought it was .

Q: do they have a small table?

A small, hard, plastic, attachable tray is included with this reclining chair.

Q: How do these compare to Lafuma's zero gravity chair (if you've tried both)? They're a bit pricier.
