This remote works, but is not user-friendly.While you can stumble through getting it to behave if you have had other Daikin remote products, this is stuck in centigrade. I believe there is a way to change the display to show Fahrenheit but there is no manual, and I cannot find one online for it.There are also some spanish words on it instead of english, although again most people can probably deal with that. But with the amount of choices for remotes like this, there are probably better options in the same price bracket.

This is a good controller for Daikin, but with a couple of caveats. It has no Fahrenheit display, so you'll have to learn enough Celsius to get the temps where you want. Secondly, it will not hang securely on the original Daikin hanger because the slot on back is not hollowed out like the original controller. This one is solid on the edges, so will hang loosely on the hanger but will slide off easily because it can't "grab" the hanger. Looks as though it can be made to hang on a nail, however. Finally, though you may not notice, the "Comfort" button on the Daikin unit is now "Conforto" on the clone. Seems to work the same though. All other functions seem to function properly, as well.
