A great product. Just got hooked up in the last week. Bought the package with three step lights. One of them died within a few hours of turning them on. I emailed the customer service people on the "After-Sale Service" card and within a day or two had a response. They asked for the Amazon Order # and that was about it. I gave them the invoice as well. They shipped a new one within about two days. I'm waiting for it to arrive. Don't have to send the failed one back. Really nice. That's great customer service!

These are awesome, they're designed to be installed in steps for step lighting, but I mounted a pair in the wall on either side of a door leading to a deck. They provide a nice down-lighting effect on the deck - and since they are 3000K they blend in with all of the other warm house lighting. The fixture itself is really interesting as well, you wire to the frame of the fixture and then just snap the fixture into place - it makes contact with the frame for electrical current.

These are pretty easy to wire in when we finished our basement (builder already had them in our stairs upstairs) the ones upstairs started burning out at about 4.5 years. I didn’t think that was bad for $10 a piece.

We ordered these lights for the stairways in our house that is currently under construction. It is very important to us that the color temperature of all the lights match, so these being 3000K made them an easy choice. Since the house is still under construction, we wired one up in place of an existing outlet where we live now. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of light they put out, and the color is nice and warm. We left it on all night and the next morning it was only slightly warm to the touch. They ARE dimmable, so if the light ends up being too bright we can always add a dimmer to the circuit for a fully custom brightness. Of course I can't speak to longevity yet, but when we get them installed I'll come back and add photos and an update. Installation does require an electrical box, but otherwise they are easy to install with a simple Hot-Common-Ground three wire hookup. All wire nuts and hardware is included in the box. Nice lights, great price, delivered quickly and as described.Addendum, three years later and these lights are still going strong. We leave them on 24/7 and they haven't skipped a beat.

I really like these lights. I wanted to show some pictures of how to install and hopefully avoid problems. I cut out cardboard templates of the body to see where I could fit a light on each step and then put blue painters tape on the back to make it sticky. Then I used a stud finder to check my spacing. As I checked alignment I found I could not get the pattern I wanted on both sides due to stud spacing so I went with one side and even then I had to modify my spacing to the point I could only use 4 of my 6 lights. After deciding on the pattern I marked each position and drilled four holes with a 1/8” bit at the corners. This allowed me to check one more time from the back of the wall to be sure I had not made a mistake and made it easy to cut out for the “old work” electrical box with a razor knife. Then I just cut out for the boxes, wired them and installed the lights.

These lights are 120 volts, not low volltage and indoor installation only.

Got these to replace my aging stair lights to my basement. Really good light and easy to install. The clip on fronts eliminates unseemly screw heads and make it very easy to get in to the fitting and adjust as needed. LED lights are bright and you get everything you need for full install.
