Excellent adhesion, promotes healing
The large size allowed for excellent adhesion to undamaged skin while sealing and protecting damaged dermis (road rash). The flexibility and stretch allowed the pads to adhere to my knees and elbows without coming off for 2-3 days. I’m sure if applied to areas that weren’t constantly flexing they’d last even longer.

Sensitive skin will love this
Duoderm is a tried & true wound care product. Absorbs drainage well easy removal, not harsh on skin. The CGF Duoderm is thicker, can absorb more moderate to heavy drainage. I’ve used the 6”x6”size & the 4x4 size. It’s a common sense kind of wound care product. You can leave it on for up to a week, 7 days. If there’s more drainage burden that oozes out, then consider a larger size dressing. If your wound requires a change every 5 days, then do so. Speak with your provider or wound care specialist. I’ve used them for decades in my nursing career.

Worthless for absorption
Doesn't absorb annnything. Fluid will run past the pad like it's not there. Totally worthless for me.
