HiLetgo5V 8 Channel Relay Module with OPTO-Isolated Support High and Low Level Trigger

I am very happy with this product. The individual jumpers that can be used to set each relay for active high or active low triggering is really nice. It isn't very common from my experience, but I have had the need for one or two relays to trigger differently than the rest on multiple projects in the past.Like nearly every relay board you'll find here, they use cheap screw terminals. They work fine, but when clamped down without a wire inside, the metal tab seen in the front bends to create a ramp that slightly interferes with inserting wires (especially flexible small wires). On the board I received, every single terminal was "ramped." Just back off the screw most of the way and gently pry the tab upwards until it's inline with the screw. Voilà - there's now lots of room. To make the connection the best it can be, if you don't have ferrules, tin the wires and then smash the tinned part with a pair of pliers to give it a wide, flat profile.In the pic attached, the three terminals in the middle (#4, 5 and 6) are "ramped," and I already "opened up" the rest.

These relays are nice for arduino projects. They require 5v at the DC+ terminal but can easily be triggered directly by a 3.3 volt GPIO pin (ESP8266).Would love it if someone could build one of these with a set of bi-stable latching relays for my low voltage battery powered project but have not found one yet!

Easy to connect and does the job well

One of the screws for the driver connections was a little off.

I bought two of these modules and in both cases 6 of the 8 relays failed to close after less then 3k cycles. The relays were powering 12VDC @ 1.31A solenoids at 250ms on 4sec off all within spec for these relays per their datasheet. I have used similar 8ch relay modules from other manufactures without issue. I will not buy this brand again.

I'm driving this unit directly from an ESP32, no pull-resistors. So yes a 3.3V Arduino will switch this 5V device. I was happy that it worked perfectly from the first moment I turned it on. The terminal blocks used for output leads are plastic, I wired them to a more sturdy terminal strip as added insurance since the people who'll be dealing with device aren't always graceful with wires and screw driver. Other wise this is a five star purchase, we'll worth its price.

This module works great. I would love to have it in a I2C version to use just 3 pins to control all the relays, but I know that would also require some latches to hold the relays in their states.

J'ai acheté le module 8 relais, que je trouve excellent, les 8 relais fonctionnent parfaitement...Au début j'ai eu du mal à visser le câblage à petits brins ronds, car il ne tenait pas bien lorsque je vissais sur le module...J'ai trouvé une astuce, avec une pince, j'ai aplati les petits fils en brins ronds, pour faire des contacts au bout aplati à visser sur le module, ça marche très bien et c'est très solideIl y a des contacts plats sur certains de mes câblages, que j'ai trempés dans de la soudure, pour faire une belle surface plane et qui se sont très bien vissés sur le module...Avec la marque HiLetgo: il n'y a pas d'erreur, les relais 5 V 8 voies avec déclencheur isolé de niveau haut et bas OPTO font partie des meilleurs modules relais ==> Note 5/5
