Works but clicking noise is unbearable. Replaced with OEM
As others have stated, it clicks EXTREMELY loudly when you open and close the door. The noise is just too much to bear so I ended up just buying the GM OEM part and replacing this knockoff part with the OEM part which makes no clicking noises.If it weren't for the clicking noise this part would be fine as it otherwise functions as intended.Unless you're willing to gamble that you can somehow fix the clicking noise, perhaps by packing the mechanism with grease, I can't in good conscience recommend this part to anyone. This is just a case where you need to buy OEM

Operator make a annoying noise
It sounds like cracks when I open or close the door.Was this a new part? My old one made no noise during door operations.

Creaky and loud
Mechanically works but the mechanisms is terribly loud. It sounds like it needs to be replaced immediately after installation. Applied silicone and grease. Did not help

Do not buy creaks from the start
Installed this brand new door check on a truck that i have for sale because the old one broke at the mount. This one is brand new and creaks extremely loud for a brand new door check. Sounds like metal on metal. Do not recommend.
