Does not interfere with phone side buttons, works with or without phone case.
No issues, stout durable tough plastic, adjusting knobs seem to work ok, easily adjusts. Fits my iPhone XS with or with out the Otter box traction case. Plenty adjustment, does not interfere with phone buttons, etc.. Eye piece fits Swarovski STS 20 x 60 x 80mm spotting scope. Also fits Zeiss FL STR 20 x 60 x 85mm Spotting scope, no problem, plenty adjustment. It seem to fit my Vortex Viper 10 x 42 and Leica Geovid 10 x 42 binoculars as well but is really close to the end of the adjustment. Probably won't work with med to small bino eye pieces, you should get the smaller Gosky adapter if so. Some reviews stated its to bulky, Its not that bad for what it fits! I also have the Nova Grade adapter. It works great as well, Excellent built, excellent material, all very precisely machined high grade,, but "very expensive" compared to the Groski. I would not have bought the Nova Grade if I had bought the Goski first! It works just fine at 35 bucks!!

Fits larger spotting scopes
I bought one for my Vortex Razor HD spotting scope. It works well (not as quick and exact as phone skope) and takes a few tries at dialing it in. It's less than half the price of phone skope and you won't have to buy a new piece to fit your new phone. This is VERY adjustable, and fits anything from binoculars to spotting scopes with large eye pieces (it also fits smaller eye piece spotting scopes).I liked mine so much that I bought one for my buddy. He loves it and was able to video my entire hunt from nearly a mile away through his spotting scope (leica).I would recommend it because they are so adjustable, priced fair, and pretty will made. I am getting ready to buy a different phone without worrying if it will fit it. It will.

Bad quality control
I bought this mount awhile back. Should of checked it out before tossing it in my bag to be used when needed. Now that I need it, I found it will not mount properly to my scope/binoculars. The mounting plates are not even. One of them is set futher back than the other two so when I tighten it down, the center viewing hole is not aligned with the binoculars. Seems like it would be a good product. Just make sure to check that it's put together correctly when they arrive.

The Digiscoping Adaptor I have been looking for!
After reading all the negative reviews I was a bit skeptical about purchasing this phone adapter. I am using it with an iPhone on a Vortex Spotting Scope. I have used the PhoneSkope in the past but they don't have one to fit the current iPhone. I bought the Gosky to replace that in hopes that it would work. The Gosky Adapter is by far the best I have used. It was easy to set up to the Vortex scope and easy to install the iphone even with the case on the phone. If anyone is trying to add a camera to their spotting scope I highly recommend this Gosky Phone Adapter. Fits well and holds tightly to the eye piece. The only minor problem that I have had is with the felt liner rolling up if I don't loosen the locking screw enough when removing the phone. I now know how to solve that problem as well. The attached photo is an example of the Gosky Adapter in use on the Vortex scope with an iPhone.

Light leaking in around the lens after several uses.
I purchased this to replace a flimsy one that came with a scope that I purchased. The first two times that I used it, it worked beautifully. Since then, it is now in possible to make adjustments so that light does not leak in around the lens.If you are serious about scope photography, I would recommend that you purchase something more professional. I thought that spending this amount of money would solve my problem. It did not.

Not worth it
We never use it because it’s quite a hassle. There are much better things on the market now, although we just put our phones to the scope and take the pictures. Takes a bit of practice, but trying to get the gizmo to work is as much trouble.

Excellent value. Fits large 55mm eyepiece on Vortex Razor!
NOTE: the dark circle around the moon and cormorant is called vignette and I put that there after shooting the photo!I bought this because for $25 how can you argue. It fits the eyepiece in my Vortex Razor HD which has an OD of 5.5cm. It’s got a twist to tighten mechanism and locks right down, centered on the eyepiece. I previously had the Gosky model with the clamp you need to tighten. The metal bars were so narrow they left impressions on my eye relief cup. I didn’t like this at all. The large round coupling on this tightens all 360* around the eyecup, avoiding any pressure spots. Also it’s plastic so it won’t damage your eyecup as easily. The phone locks well into position via the tightening screw on the swing arm. The adapter tightens nicely to my phone as well.I have numerous issues with the Phoneskope platform. First: it’s like $80 which is a wicked turn off. I wouldn’t mind spending that if it was a one time thing but the fact I need to keep buying new cases for new phones and new couplings for new scopes and a separate coupling for my binos, at the end of the day the Phoneskope comes with a need to continually upgrade and update your hardware. This Gosky is universal. I can use my phone, I can use my girlfriends phone when we go birding. I can use the next phone I buy, and the one after that! It’s universality is really a HUGE selling point.
