Old Fashioned Style Manual Hand Crank Rotary Egg Beater Mixer Cooking Whisk

When I order something, receive it and go to plug it in or I go to operate it in whatever means possible to insure it works properly, that is exactly what I do and what I intend to occur. I DO NOT intend to unpack an item and discover that the item does not work as intended. I unpacked this manual crank rotary egg beater and expected the crank to turn and in turn the beaters would turn. However I discovered that this plastic piece of garbage made in of all places; where else? China! This is a piece of garbage and the crank did not turn because it was jammed for some reason and the gears were not coinsiding with the crevices in which the blades would turn. When I tried to straighten the gears with the crevices in the blades, the entire hand crank did not bend like metal should; it broke like a piece of cheaply made plastic. THIS IS NOT WHAT I ORDERED!!! I expected an Old Fashioned Style Manual Cranked Rotary Egg Beater and what I got was an inoperable contraption that was intended to rip off the consumer. Not worth the money - take it from me, DO NOT BUY IT!

Appeared very cheap. Didn't use it. Read the reviews after I ordered it. Some mentioned it rusted easily. Returned the item.

It is chrome look, but mostly plastic. The blades, shafts, and lower bracket are metal, and very lightweight at that. I'm concerned how well this is going to last. I had one of these as a kid that was truly all metal and it lasted for many years of regular use. I'd say there's little chance of this lasting real long, especially for batters or thicker materials.
