Dorman577-106 Fuel Filler Neck Inlet Check Valve Compatible with Select Chevrolet/GMC Models (OE FIX)

This is the only filler neck repair repalr kit that works by desighn the flapper door is not to stiff like on some others and or resticted flow if you want your filler neck fix right the first time then get this one also be very carefull to only cut on the outside of the old failing filler neck just above where its leaking as to not make your whole to big cut only on the outside of the tank and take your time. 2004 GMC envoy your good to go.

I had the plastic neck on my 2006 Jeep wrangler gas tank snap off. (The plastic gets brittle with age) so I drilled the hole out a little bigger 1.5 inches and installed this filler neck. It installed tight and seals up tight so it should work great! Very happy to not spend $500 on a new tank, with plastic parts. I used a step drill bit to drill the hole in the fuel tank and it worked great! So buy one that goes to at least 1.5 inches. Then smooth outer edge and done. Took me all of 10 minutes start to finish.

I found this part in a auto parts store for $175.00. I was a bit shocked but it beat the price of a new tank $700.00. So I just happened to Google the part number and boom this popped up. Half the price so I definitely bought it.. Great product and worked great..

When I installed the item, which involves the removal of the fuel tank and the fuel pump, the seal would not fit properly even though I was following the instructions exactly. I called the Dorman Tech Assist line and was informed that the instructions that came with my kit (revision 2016) were wrong and had been updated with revision 2018 that completely changed where the rubber gasket was to be installed. A pic of the revised directions that are available on Dormans website in pdf form is attached to this review as well as a shot of the directions that came with the kit. I had to take the fuel pump back out and reinstall with the rubber gasket now on the inside where it fit neatly into a groove on the valve and sealed up. If you failed to catch this and installed it the way the instructions that came with it said then you would have a leak and set potential code P0440. Other than that it fit good and worked good on my daughters 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer LT 4.2L that the fuel fill neck cracked off of the tank. There are some good youtube videos out there to reference for the job.

Its fit perfectly. Used to repair the recall that was missed on inlet check valve/rollover valve that cracked on fuel tank.

Is the only fix to your gas tank leak for your 2003 bravada. I tried every kinda tank repair kit know to man and nothing stops the leaks except this part

Wish I had found this sooner. Saw a YT video of this used to repair a different GM vehicle than mine. Found in the Amazon reviews that it had been used for a repair on a close match for what I have, mine is a 2003 Chevy Venture. The fuel tank is close to unubtainium. Has been repaired using this part and is now a usable vehicle.
