This is a very soft runner which I have to say I am pleasantly surprised by now that I have seen it in the flesh. Sometimes these things can look very different once you have them at home but I think this particular rug looks better than I imagined it would.I think the colours are just right as they aren't completely washed out but they aren't colours that scream at you either, I think they add just the right pop of colour. However, if you really are after a 'vintage' looking rug then this probably wouldn't appeal to you, both in colour and in texture.The texture of this rug is more like a plush fleece blanket or something similar, it isn't a tight pile like most rugs. It feels incredibly soft though, which my dogs are massive fans of!There is a non slip backing to the runner which I find perfectly adequate on carpet, but on a wooden floor you may need to secure it with something else to stop any slippage.Overall I think it is a lovely runner and could work in many different interiors. Another plus is that it does fold down very small and so could easily be machine washed which is excellent for me as a multiple dog household.

Gorgeous rug. Came folded in a square zipper bag but the creases soon fell out. It looks and feels good quality. Lovely and warm to walk on bare footed and feels like silk. Colours are delicate and match perfectly with my yellow walls and white laminate in the kitchen. It has a light grey rubber type backing so any movement in the rug will be slight. It is machine washable at 30 degrees but hopefully I won't need to wash it for a while yet. Am really impressed.

This is a vintage effect hallway carpet runner. It comes folded up in a bag but the creases come out as soon as it’s opened out.It’s a medium thickness rug and very soft. It’s lightweight and so moves about and ripples up a lot which can be sorted with a rug gripper.My daughter in her twenties didn’t like the design but I quite liked it as someone a little bit older.

We have just received this rug and am really impressed .I was surprised how soft this rug feels , really silky smooth .It arrives folded but the creases soon smooth out .The backing feels like a silicone non slip type.The appearance is of an antique faded appearance rather than vivid colours .Would go well with both modern and traditional decor .The price for the size (being 800 x200) is really good.No loose threads or stitching or shedding of fluff , no complaints so far .

I wanted something that looked more retro but for me these colours are a bit too bright for me.The length is great and it folds up really small if you needed to store itDoes need grips underneath if on a wooden floor as it does slide aroundA good price though

This runner is lovely. Looks great in our hallway and is super soft on your feet.
