Got this to use for my snakes heating mat. It works great so far!

Love the simplicity of this. Returned another T-stat that you needed an HVAC license ti operate. Works perfect for simple temp on/off functions - both hot and cold

Use it to control a little fan for someone that's got difficulty moving around, no need to hunt for a controller or get up it just works. Bonus it'll do heating or cooling!

I put in my truck use but when I tried to use it it was bad . so I don't know if I can send it back.

Will not sustain 5 amps for more than two minutes before the internal circuit breaker trips. I tried TWO of these. The same thing happened with each. The advertised 15 Amp capacity is a myth. I ran these at a 5-amp load - I don't know what lower level it will sustain without tripping, so beware of this fibbing about the current load.

We own a bearded dragon and I’ve pretty much automated his entire environment - heat, ventilation, humidity - everything has a sensor and multiple devices that enable maintaining a healthy environment for our lizard.This particular controller is actually very nice! It is well constructed with thick cables and the dial is smooth and solid feeling - set the desired temp point and it stays in place.This unit is full featured - you can use it for controlling a heater or for something like a fan for cooling/circulation by flipping a small switch on the back. It has thermostat control range that goes from 41° to 86° and a physical power switch right in the front. My favorite feature of all is the fact that the temperature probe is removable - absolutely brilliant! It also features a 15A recoverable overload protection which only requires you to switch it off and back on to reset. Worth noting it can handle up to 1857 watts or roughly 1/2HP inductive loads but I haven’t tested on anything bigger than a 150W heat bulb.This is pretty straight forward unit and the price is reasonable - I’ve paid double for similar controllers that eventually failed. I will report back if it doesn’t last.

This plug works great for my evaporative cooler in the garage. I don't need precise temp control, just need to keep it from going too high and sometimes I forget to turn it on early enough.You simply plug this unit in, plug you device into the plug, set the switch for heating or cooling, turn it on and set your desired temperature. Can't get much simpler than that.Seems to be fairly sensitive to temperature change and cycles the cooler on and off to roughly maintain my set temp.

Tested on a space heater. Works as expected. Turns off at the set temperature.
