these replaced some thick, heavy, molded, and unwilling to bend armor in my jacket. They're light, flexible, and make the jacket feel much more natural to wear!Here's hoping I don't have to see how much protection they offer. Now if only there was a back protector...

Absolutely the best motorcycle jacket and pants armor, hands-down. I've tried every kind of armor that I could find and SAS-TEC are the best. Comfortable, very moldable, ventilated, thinner than other armor - all at CE-Level 2. Barely notice you are wearing them.

SAS-TEC armour is one of the best rated armour materials for motorcyclists. It's very thin and light and protects well. This is a second set I have bought from Great Lakes. First order turned up promptly and fitted well in my jacket. I was so impressed I ordered another set to upgrade my riding pants.

Really nice, feels similar to the unventilated version, wish it would absorb more impact though.

I have bought these a couple of times now and replaced all of the armor in my jacket and pants. These work great and are hardly noticeable at all. Not only that but the airflow is excellent too, I would recommend these to anyone.

I tried to install them in a klim jacket and a revit pants and both no go. The armors are a bit too big for the pockets. They seem to be very comfortable lightweight and flexible wish they would have fit.

I bought this set to upgrade the armor in one of my riding jackets. Nice and this armor, very flexible, and I love that it's breathable for the summer riding heat. Very easy to trim to fit existing armor pockets.

Bought these the other day and updated back pads (separate purchase), knee and added hip pads to the pockets.On the hips: Pockets were too small for the shoulder size so.. I just used scissors and cut them down. Fit great.On the knees: They do not. Come with a Velcro area or Velcro patch. So: I used some 3M patchs that I got off here. I turned the backing out for the fabric side, and gently used a razor to cut a shape out of the fabric side. I then ripped that part off, and then stickied the Velcro to the plastic underneath, rather than the fabric. Worked great. Bottom line: DIY is your friend, but they make great products. Just sometimes a one size fits all model.. simply doesn't.

Comfortable, light and with level 2 protection to boot. There's no competition in the market for something this lightweight at level 2 protection - no brainer purchase if you're looking to upgrade from level 1 armor.Note: The armor is meant to be worn with the honeycomb shell towards the body and the fabric away, which was a bit odd but again, you can't really feel it in the end.

Nice tight fit in my jacket. Conforms to my body and much slimmer compared to my old armour. Nice and breathable for the Aussie sun
