I did things in the opposite order that you SHOULD buy things. I am relatively new to leverless controllers. I've only been using them since a few months after the release of Street fighter 6. I used to use joysticks and fight pads. Since I am fortunate to have the funds I have I bought some of the more expensive leverless controllers first, which was a mistake. Because if I didnt realize how damn good the Haute42 (COMSOX) R16 was then I may have never wasted money on the other (Kitsune, Snackbox micro, Victrix FS12, and Punk Workshop). All of the more expensive ones I bought were fine, but I always found something wrong that made me continue the search for "The One". This R16 is a great entry but also great as a permanent solution. For the people that say it creaks a bit TIGHTEN THE SCREWS. They dont tighten them all the way when they shipped it. Now it still creaks but not half as much. That is the only downside for me. The button switches are replaceable and button caps are too. You can add artwork under the plastic clear top. You can make your own or buy one with a custom artwork through the FOCUS ATTACK site.Barebones, this thing is well worth the price. I've come to the conclusion that if you aren't doing some custom art or box for your leverless then Haute42 R16 is a great start and that the other companies are kind of ripping us off. I had an issue with the razer Kitsune and Razer wouldnt help fix my situation so never again Razer, although the kitsune is a great device, Haute 42 has a similar device for 2/3 of the price. Haute42 is my new favorite manufacturer of leverless controllers. I am curious to see what their more expensive offerings are like because this R16 is pretty damn good.

I really like this thing. Use to throw down on the Junk Food Snack Box Micro...was a bit too small; got rid of it. This, on the other hand, is the perfect size for my hands and it feels good to rest me wrists on. The cord that came with it is a good length and it worked as soon as I plugged it into my steam deck! Didn't have to fiddle with a single setting. The only downside is that it tends to creak when I'm putting mad pressure on it but that's by no means a deal breaker. All in all, the price is RIGHT and would make a good leverless fight stick for beginners and pros alike.

LED config was super easy, it's comfy and responsive and has all the buttons you could want. It creaks a bit if you hold it in your lap so it's best used on one of those lap desks you used back when you were in school or a table top. Don't forget to pick up a Brook FGC adapter to make this and all of your fight sticks work on the PS5 otherwise it disconnects every 8 minutes (by Sony's design on the PS5)My first leverless and it's AWESOME. I will be buying a 2nd soon.

I've only had the leverless arcade stick for a few days but it is responsive and has a nice weight to it. Good for those who prefer to play on their lap or on a desk. Instructions are very minimal but there are resources out there to help with setting everything up. The lighting is fully customizable as well as the small screen. The stick comes with a layout that has a few extra buttons which you don't see on the more common leverless controllers, but these buttons can be used as shortcuts or disabled.Leverless certainly has a learning curve, especially for me, someone that plays on traditional fight stick or controller, but some time spent in the lab made me comfortable with the all button layout fairly quick.I've tested Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8, on PC and the stick works great. You will need third party adapters for PS5 if that is your preferred platform.Overall if you are looking to get into leverless I'd say this is a great stick to buy.

This is my first leverless, though I am an arcade stick user for years. The Haute42 R16 is quality. The fit and finish and features are unbelievable for what you pay. Premium. If something were to happen to mine, I’d immediately buy another.

I have controllers that cost twice as much that aren't as impressive as the R16. The weight of the buttons is fantastic, customization is great, worked right out of the box on PC. Really enjoying it so far.

I really like this controller after putting in my own switches but, it's creaky (which doesn't hurt anything.), more importantly one of the keycaps came sticky like there was some kind of stick goo on it, I just washed them all while I was trading out switches, it works fine now and it's an better deal than I got for my hitbox and snackbox.

I really appreciate the Haute42 products. I have multiple boards and controllers from them. I think they are affordable and good products. Just hitting the sweet spot between cost and quality; that's why I keep going back to them. This order and item was no exception.
