Even though I love fresh coconut juice, I always worry about someone getting hurt in the process of opening the coconut. Then I checked some videos online and that made me decide to get this one. This handy and inexpensive tool solves that dilemma perfectly. This opener is very strong. The handle is very good. It is so easy to use, and very effective. It makes opening coconuts a breeze. After using the mallet to drive the special "spoon" into the skin/shell of the coconut, the unique angle of the spoon allows you to create a fairly large hole. Juice and coconut flesh are easily accessible. Absolutely love this item. Very helpful devise. I highly recommend this product for anyone who loves young coconut.

I am so glad I found this product. I originally saw Coco Jack online and my friend ordered one. Well, they don't have it together over there at Coco Jack because I ordered their product over a year + ago and have been emailing back and forth with their customer service to get an update on my order, they kept telling me they were on back order - FOR A YEAR NOW? COMON! Anyways, I love using this product because the alternative is cutting away at coconuts with a sharp large butcher's knife, which is hella dangerous. I'm so excited to use this. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy fresh coconuts at home. Just make sure you pound it pretty deep into the coconut. It might be a little tricky removing the cut piece off the device, but just wiggle it back and forth and it'll eventually come off.

I am a coconut lover and use this almost every other day. Although it does the job (best part is that I can easily scoop out the meat) it does crack the coconut and water leaks out of it. I always have to place the coconut on a plate or a bowl so that the water does not get wasted. But other than that, I highly recommend this for all coconut lovers. I have stopped getting those artificial boxes that claim to be natural with tons of added sugars/flavors/calories. I now only have 100% natural coconuts thanks to this opener.

Used it on 9 coconuts so far. Still impressed by how much easier it makes opening a coconut, but it is already beginning to get dings on the "blade"

Awesome opener. Does exactly what is mentioned. I felt it is a bit expensive. Hammer is not required if you have one at home already. Should have had the option to buy the other tool without the hammer. But overall it's a great product.

OMG, this made opening up coconuts soooo much easier! I saw someone use it on YouTube so I had to order one and I am glad that I did! I love eating and drinking coconuts and this product made that process sooo much easier!!

Works great and easy to use

The mallet black bit flew off and hit my computer! Scratched it. Luckily, didn't smash it. The black bit isn't secured enough to the handle and it just flew into the air about a metre long. So dangerous. What if a baby sitting there. It didn't even cut the coconut - I am a woman, if that makes a difference. I bought this one in particular too because it didn't have a red bit on it, like the cheaper ones. Thinking it was better. But the one that arrived had the red on it. Very dangerous - don't get.

The rubber part of the hammer fell off after the first few hits, the metal tool is fine after 4th use.

terrible, cheap hammer, black hammer keeps on falling off, its nothing but waste of money and time. how can you sell such a cheap product that doesn’t work

The hammer broke after one use and the metal opener after 5. Not worth the money
