Good tool
I have several DEWALT tools. When I found this on Amazon I thought I’d try it. This cordless ratchet works great and it is like it says compatible with the DEWALT batteries.I love it.

Works Good
Wish it had a little more torque but it works as it should.

Impressive Power
I got this for two reasons. One, it's compatible with the Dewalt batteries I already own. Two, I have a pneumatic one which, of course, is more powerful, but it's a pain in the butt to use for small quick jobs. This thing says it's rated at 45 foot pounds of torque and while I don't really have a way to measure the accuracy of that claim, I can say it's plenty powerful. Today I used it to put together a steel wheel barrow. It tightened the bolts enough that I actually bent the wheel barrow a little.I like that it came with some standard sockets because all the socket sets I have are 1/4" drive and this is 3/8". Even better is that it comes with a 3/8" to 1/4" adapter as the sockets were a little too shallow for some of the bolts I was working with,The only negative that I can think of, and I'm using the word negative very loosely, is the LED light. It turns on when you engage the trigger and shuts off immediately upon release of the trigger. If a light were really necessary, I'd imagine you'd need the light to set the socket on the nut you're tightening/loosening, not when it's already set. There's also no option to turn the light on/off independently. The majority of my Dewalt tools have this option and the light remains on for 5-10 seconds after you release the trigger.I'm not going to deduct a star for the light, because I don't care about the light. I don't do a lot of work in the dark. But, if you're someone that is often needing to see into tight spaces it might be an issue for you.Overall, I'm very pleased. This is a great tool.

3/8 20 Volt Ratchet
I was really excited 5o order this ratchet I have never had one a friend of mine has a electric ratchet and it worked great I got it in today opened the box and put a battery on it and tried it out the first 2 bolts it done great and then on the 3rd it was weak it cut off a few times but took tge bolt out on the 4th bolt it was DOA I changed out the battery thinking it might be dead i put a hot battery on it and nothing the light is tge only thing comes on so I wasn't very impressed with it by no means now I have to drive it to a ups store they wouldn't even give me a ups pickup for it so buy it at your own risk it might work but mine didn't I hope this was helpful

Mid range ratchet
This cordless ratchet fits my non-brand and the Dewalt 20v brand of batteries. They designed the battery interface to the exact specifications as the Dewalt batteries so they fit on/off like you expect. It was a little tight at first but after a dozen times changing the battery it loosened up and became a lot easier to remove a battery. The tool has a trigger type variable speed switch that gives you good control. There's a switch to lock the trigger so rolling around in a tool box won't cause it to turn on. There is an LED light on the bottom of it which only operates when the tool is spinning. It would have been nice if this could have it's own switch or at least stay on for a few more seconds. This comes with a some common size sockets and a 3/8 adapter. The head of the ratchet is small enough that it fits in tight spaces. The battery is orientated parallel to the handle and it probably would have been better if it was perpendicular to the tool so it wouldn't add width when trying to use this in a tight space. If it was on the bottom perpendicular to the tool you would be able to stand the tool to up on it's own. Other than those minor nit-piks it's a good tool. I never use this type of tool to break loose anything but as a ratchet it works well. I don't have a method to measure the actual torque level but the tool has some weight to it so I know the motor is decent size.

Not Brushless
It's important to set expectations when looking at this ratchet. It is not a brushless, top of the line ratchet. It does have brushes so it won't be extremely efficient or powerful. However, it is a great value especially if you already have a plethora of batteries that work like I do. This ratchet gets the job done without the need for all of the bells and whistles.
