This tape is incredible. While we are not using it for an awning, we are using it as an outdoor tape for our pool tarp to ensure the edges don't tear. This tape cannot be torn by hand, so it is very durable. The adhesion is very good. I don't see any worry about peeling. The paper on the back can be a little difficult to get off without tearing, but we were able to get those extra bits off with a little extra effort. Overall I can highly recommend this product for awnings or other outdoor needs.

This works similar to some heavy duct tape, gaffer tape or whatever but seems much stronger. The adhesive is really nice, peel the backing off and get it done. I used this to repair a tear in my 10x12 semi-permanent canopy that was stretching and tearing. Worked out really easily. Just slap it on there and you're done. Offered some nice strength in the spots that needed it without too much effort.

I am using an old dog kennel as a chicken coop. I use tarps to keep the water out, but they need to be taped down or taped together in a few places. Other tape has failed quickly in the Florida heat and rain. This has held up rather well. This set comes with two rolls of wide tape and a pair of scissors. It is a bit of a pain to pull the backing off the tape, but I can understand why the use it after a piece of tape stuck to itself and there was no way to get it apart. I just wish the backing was a bit wider than the tape so you could more easily get a hold of it. The tape is so sticky, that the scissors gummed up after cutting just a couple of pieces off the roll. So far, it has held up through a few very hot weeks and multiple thunderstorms. Would purchase again.

I used this tape on my trucks bed cover. It doesn't stick very well around curves or waves. The tape resembles black duck tape. The tape is thin and expensive. The quality isn't the best.

We used this heavy-duty tape to repair our nylon deck chairs, which were starting to rip in our unpredictable northwest summer weather. The waterproof tape repaired the damaged material on the deck chairs, and as a result, they can be used again. In other words, this tape is strong enough to hold up when someone sits in the repaired chair for hours.

It's been 80s and 90's F last few days, so I thought I'd apply a patch to my canvas shelter. It worked! It seemed to hold firmly after a couple of minutes! But, I think I'm going to add a backing piece and a few stitches, just in case (belt and suspenders). It should, however, be fine as is. Just don't forget to round the corners of your patch(es) so it can't be caught and ripped off easily.

This tape holds great.Super sticky and strong.It can stand up to the elements.

Our awning has been through some decent wind and rain storms (while extended) since applying the tape, and it has all held up really well.
