A very effective means for distributing / circulating the heat from our wood burning stove. We have had stoves over an eighteen year period and this has produced a significant improvement in the distribution of the heat both in the room and to the rest of the house. This makes the room much more evenly heated and comfortable and saves on heating costs in the rest of the house.

Seems very effective, blades were a bit bent. Too straighten them, lay it on the blades to work out how to bend it. It's very quiet, looks nice too.

On unpacking it seems really well made and sturdy, after lighting the stove it started turning pretty quickly and keeps going long after we thought it would. When spinning it is virtually silent, you need to be really close to hear it.What surprised us most is the difference in room temp it really does work and has made a large living room much more cosy.Great value and highly recommended

Things to consider...I’ve had three of this type of fan over the years. This is my first 4 blade which I would say is a must. Three / two blade fans vibrate, go out of balance and are noisy after some use. This one is silent.For what they do - they are not a magic cure for poor home heating. They are a novelty due to how they turn seemingly by magic, however they do help circulate the heat from the depths of an inglenook fireplace. They just don’t generate enough wattage to be powerful enough to blast you from across the room - wouldn’t even blow out a candle. But over the course of an evening you will feel the benefit of the heat dispersal compared to not having one.This one starts up quickly - circa 2 mins / once the log burner is established.Decent little buy, seems solid enough. The fan blades are always thin like foil due to being light enough to rotate under low power.Only put it in today so will see how long it lastsWould recommend

This little fan fits ideally on the top of my wood burner it’s very quiet , delivery was quick it is reasonably priced and circulates the heat very well . I had one in the past I couldn’t remember the name so read lots of reviews as I always do before purchasing especially when there’s so much choice and price variation.Id definitely recommend this one 👍

I have a large multi fuel stove which sits within a brick fireplace with a large gap round. When I first light my fire I use kindling and a couple of small shovels full of smokeless briquettes and within ten minutes both fans start to rotate by themselves. (I have two fans as the stove is wide and my kitchen is large). Once the fire gets going I just burn well seasoned logs, but whether it's logs or smokeless fuel once the stove top gets hot the fans will continue to turn. Personally I think just one fan would suffice in a small kitchen but two really transfer the hot air that was trapped in my fireplace around my larger room. They look well made, they're effective and reasonably priced too and for the skeptics I held a smoking incense stick about a metre in front of the fireplace and they gently blew the smoke. Just unbox it, place it on the stove top at the back and that's it really. As for noise it's just a very gentle, non intrusive whisper. Full instructions are in the box so sit back and enjoy. Excellent bit of kit, bought another. Helps to gently move the hot air around the room. No noise from fan either so I don't know why people complain about the noise as my hearings perfectly normal and I can't hear it!

La différence de température entre le poêle très chaud et la pièce plus froide est suffisante pour produire un léger courant électrique qui alimente un petit moteur. Il n'y a donc aucune alimentation électrique autre que celle créée par la différence de chaleur.▶ La chaleur ayant tendance à monter, la plus grosse partie va directement monter au plafond. L'intérêt de ce type de ventilateur est d'envoyer la chaleur dans la pièce et de l'empêcher de monter directement au plafond.▶ Il est livré avec un thermomètre aimanté qui est assez précis. A environ 100° le ventilateur se met à tourner. Plus la chaleur augmente pus il tourne vite.▶ J'ai eu un léger bruit au début. Bruit qui s'est accentué quand j'ai beaucoup chargé le poêle et qu'il est monté à 200°. Et puis finalement le bruit s'est arrêté et le ventilateur est totalement silencieux maintenant lorsqu'il fonctionne.▶ Quand on passe la main devant le ventilateur, on ne sent pas de flux d'air. Mais si on met un petit bout de papier, on voit bien qu'il y a un flux d'air.▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓CONCLUSION▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓Ne vous attendez à une grosse ventilation. Le flux d'air est très léger.Donc l'effet ne sera pas très important et il est difficile à mesurer. Mais le flux d'air existe donc cela ne peut qu'apporter un mieux et le prix est raisonnable.
