HLSFWDRIVE WPL C64-1 RC Rock Crawler RC Truck 4x4 Off Road RTR

I've owned MANY rc crawlers and trail trucks of all brands. From $1000 to now $60 and ive got to say, im in love with this truck!! The performance out of the box is fair enough for get you hooked to the build and hobby. Yes, I see the upgrade market is so large and that is awesome!! My favorite to it is a simple dollar tree run and you can really make this truck pop. As you can see in my pics, ive done some retro looks to mine with dollar tree vinyl and a razor blade. Also, simple paint markers/sharpies to do up the light lenses and the wheels really makes it wake up. My first "upgrade" will be tires on the stock rims and then later I may do a set of beadlock wheels but for now, a little softer tire will benefit it SHOULD you choose to do an upgrade. Otherwise out of the box, I plan to order the other model of the similar truck to play with next. Goal is to have 1 of each with how much I love them!!

Really cool crawler! Wish I bought 2 now so I can play with my son. Regardless just starting off with new rd crawlers or not, this is worth owning!

Was a great and fun little truck was having fun for a week making obstacle courses indoors! Pretty capable out the box, awesome fun! 1 week later, the driveshaft broke (upgraded to metal, waited for parts from China) and now other parts broke and the truck is "totalled" and not able to rock crawl anymore. Waste of money, not a quality product; was a big fan of the truck but now I will never buy the brand again. Thank you

Right out of the box we got it charged up and it didn't take long before my son was having a blast. This thing crawls up any obstacle and follows the remote with no delays. It is used, charged then used again....no drop in battery length. Such a fun RC truck! Couldn't get my son to drive straight to get a good video....

First off I finally purchased another WPL, my first one I had was about 10 years ago this one is much more set up and capable. I like the proportional steering, and throttle. It still as cheap plastic parts as it was 10 years ago, but they have improve some. The plastic parts are as followed- axles housing, drive shafts, truck bed and bumpers. The Frame is metal but if weak metal but it works nothing like traxxas or name brands, but for the price you can’t beat it. The suspension is very cheap but capable. Springs do return it to full ride height, a bit bouncy, I took care of that with some mods and added oil filled shocks, and I got some better weight tires 60mm the ones on here are about 70mm hard plastic. I tuned the suspension down a bit to give it more of a scaled look, and painted it. It came out nice, the body alone to me is wroth it. The electronics are as simple as any WPL I’m Sure if your pockets are big you can upgrade it with other parts hobby grade. But over all for the price you can’t beat it. It’s a good starter Rig. The only problem I don’t like it the binding up at full lock when you are turning its hard on the truck but you can adjust it steering on the controller so it helps.

BUT…it’s a blast to play with. I have about 10 RCs from crawlers to speed demons…(Arrma)…this little truck has given me a different type of pleasure. Playing inside is not what I am used to with RCs. The only thing that it troubling is the diff. It’s locked and doesn’t slip, so when turning on a grippy surface, it binds up a little… but it STILL fun and for the money, it’s a winner…

Initially, this was a great toy to have, but it too often would break apart while in use. It had axles that can unhinging when on uneven ground or taking a crash, but it would detach way too often and was way too sensitive. Ended up returning the car because it could not handle tough terrain as expected. Still a super stylish truck and was fun when lasted. Battery life and installation were super easy and great, the only issue I had was the wheels and axle detaching when using.

Fully sick little rig. Would recommend upgrading to metal components as plastic ones are somewhat easily breakable especially when you mate trips onto it and steps on it. 🤙🏽

Very shocked. This thing rocks for the price. It’s not fast, but seems very capable. WPL has quick rose to the top of my lift for fun entry level 4x4. These are perfect to play inside or out with your kids. We made a course in the living room and had a hoot, we also made a kinetic sand pit. Super fun! Upgraded axles to metal, as well as driveline. Tones of aftermarket support. I will be buying a 3rd truck for my son as well, he is almost 5 but wants the blue Tacoma.

Muy bonito, tiene una buena potencia, aun que un poco más no estaría mal, el que tenga la batería en la parte de atrás la hace inestable en varias subidas con bordos, pero en lo general esta bien

It is a fun and powerful little truck and I like it. It handles rough ground well with its 4x4 drive and it has strong motor. The steering is smooth and easy to control. Battery life is okay, but could be longer for more playtime. Good choice.
