Bought these pellets once my axolotls reached 5+".All my axolotls are now adults, ranging 6-10".They ALL eat these without hesitation. I have tried other brands and they definitely prefer these.The 1/4" size is a great size for the adults, there might be a few larger pieces and I just use scissors and cut them in half. These sink almost immediately upon hitting the water, making it easier to "food drop."Highly recommend giving these a try!

Finally found some nice large pellets for an adult axolotl! They have quite some variation in length but diameter is nice and large. They seem to keep fresh longer than other types I got in bags. It is a lot smaller of a container than I thought it was but will be buying again!

Made my water cloudy, Good thing I was doing a water change the next day, anyways. Giving the rest to my Granddaughters so they can feed the fish at the zoo.

Lotls of all ages love this. I run an acolotl rehab and this food has been a nutritionally dense well rounded godsend. Good value for your money and the company actually sells in bulk if you need them to!
