Is this the best microphone you can get? Certainly not. Professional options will definitely give you better sound quality. It is, however, among the best I've seen in its price range. The dual microphones work great both for interviews and (of more relevance to my own uses), capturing audio from a speaker and from a prop simultaneously. Though not a wireless microphone, I'm pleased with the cord length, which provides plenty of flexibility. You might not want to use this on stage and to be tethered by the cord, but it works great for recording a stationary subject.

I bought this after picking up the Comica CVM-D02 and being less than blown away by it. The sound on that set was boomy and muddled, almost like you were talking through a pillow. I was able to get it usable after a lot of adjustments in Audacity, but I ran by the BOYA set and figured they were worth a try at only $20.They sound much better than the Comica set, and they're cheaper. The results sound more balanced and natural. Obviously this isn't going to be better than a professional level lav, but for the money I am extremely happy.The fact that it takes a battery helps immensely, I think. I connected this to a Panasonic G85 and was able to turn the gain way down on the camera and still get clean sound. Non powered mics I've used just can't match it.

The two mic heads have separate leads so they can be spaced widely apart, making this a good setup for an interview situation into a stereo recorder. The mics are powered by a button cell in an in-line cartridge; typical of these mics. I'm feeding a video camera that required condenser mics, and getting good sound of my church sermon. I've mounted the mics about a foot apart on the church pulpit and I'm very satisfied.

This has been well reviewed and recommended by youtubers which is the reason I bought it. As always, it proved to be too cheap to be good. It is better than budget laptop's mics mostly because you could place it very close to your mouth. Vocals is very muddy and sounds like from a can. I returned it(thanks Amazon!) and decide to make a step up and buying the Rode Smart Lav. I will leave a review on that product after I testing it.

Great for the price. A bit quiet, especially for a condenser but it works and sounds decent.

I use these for live streaming and I am very happy with them.

This is a good product. For this price it is quite good to be honest. There is one strange thing about this one though.*** It's the battery compartment. I have read many reviews where they say the mic does not work and only records noise etc. The thing is we are all used to the standard battery compartment design and habitual that the spring side is Negative (-ve polarity) and the pin or notch side is Positive (+ve polarity) in all the devices we use which require any kind of battery. This mic though, the battery placement is revers, the spring side is +ve and notch side is -ve. Becaus eof this I am sure many people (just like me at first) insert the battery like they are used to in other devices and end up with just noise. SO if after inserting the battery and turning on the mic, you are getting only noise then just check the battery placement and reverse it.Overall sound quality is good. There is some background or ambient noise but it is manageable,Overall good buy for the price.
