Bought several of these to replace all of the so called leak proof nozzles on my 5 gal diesel and gas cans. So glad that I did. All of my cans now work flawlessly, don’t leak, and pour well thanks to the air vent. Just use a 1/2” bit to drill the hole for the vent and the included vent cap snaps in nice and snug. The included caps worked for all but one of my cans. For that one I used the original cap that came with the can and swapped out the nozzle. Worked perfectly.

Pros: Just twist on and off. Nothing that needs to be gripped tightly while filling. No leaks. Two sizes of twist cap. Vent cap and nozzle cap included. Sturdy. Cons:Think it is pricey for one nozzle.

I had two 5-gallon gas cans with sun-rotted spouts, and bought this product to replace the damaged spouts. I wasn’t able to tell whether I had an exact match, as the labels were destroyed on the cans, so I hoped that this product would fit. With the yellow collars I got a usable fit, though they don’t start easily, so I can use the cans. The product came with vents, since the old spouts had the vents incorporated. The instructions called for drilling a 1/2” hole with a step drill and snapping the vents in place. I really appreciated the encouragement to use a step drill, which I had to buy because I’d never had one. It worked beautifully, giving a perfectly round hole, and the vents fit nice and tight. Overall I’m pleased

This plastic gas can spout is working well, zero leaks. Quality seems ok , can’t say how durable it is yet as I’ve only been using it for about a month so far.

Got this EZ-Pour spout replacement since my flow metered safety spout decided to break and leak everywhere. This thing really is almost perfect. Easy to install, easy to add the breather valve, pours very smoothly and doesn't leak at all!My only note that would make this perfect is if the end of the nozzle tilted down slightly or was hooked down by 10-20 degrees. Thus you can fully pour into smaller fill neck lawn mowers without anything splashign out. Very small issue and really just increases fill time by a few seconds.

If you prefer “old school”/traditional nozzles for your older plastic gas cans (opposed to the new styles that are NOT user-friendly), these are the perfect spouts to order…multiple sized seals & end caps are included to ensure a perfect fit for your gas cans…no leaks…no venting issues…appearance is almost identical to the original nozzle/spout that I replaced…couldn’t be more happy about this purchase!

It’s good quality but with the cap threads are on the the inside of the spout. I get splashing when pouring slow. The threads ruin the smooth laminar flow of the gasoline. I’ll continue to use but keep looking for the perfect spout.

At this point, it fits my gas can snugly, without drips. An earlier purchase from another manufacturer yielded a spout that needed careful adjustment so that it did not leak. After about a year of use the gasket deteriorated to the point that it constantly leaked. This one fits snugly ant I am more confident that it will hold up.

The only problem was that the supplied collars for attaching to the jug could not be used. The original one on the jug works best.
