My hopes were exceeded by this product, which was built expressly for pet training. What made me happiest was witnessing how much my dogs enjoyed these goodies. You will get 20 in a pack, which is worth the money. They come in a casing and are softer. My only criticism of them is that not all of the ingredients are healthful., but perfect for gifting, and I forgot how they smell. Since my dog is practically elderly, I think it's great that they are for all stages.

I expected these to be more of a jerky texture, but instead I would definitely call these sausages. They come in a casing and are softer, not tough like jerky. My dog doesn't chew her treats too well and often swallows her treats almost hole, so I worry about her digesting the casing. The price is a bit high, so these make for a good "special" treat. She loves the smell and gets very excited when I open the bag. She has had some digestive issues and irregularity since I got these, but I don't give them to her often so it is hard to know how closely related the issue is. I'm not sure I would get these again, as I was hoping for a jerky style treat that makes her chew on it more, rather than the sausage treat that these actually are.

The best testimonial I can give these is that my dogs love them. They will sit, shake, and do all the tricks they know but often don't want to do in order to get one of these jerky sticks. I am very pleased that these are made with US-raised chicken in a USDA certified facility. I feel much better about giving treats like this to my dog than those made overseas or with ingredients from undisclosed countries.
