I wanted a light for outside the back door, and this has done the job fantastically. It is very well made and lights up the area as I wanted. It was very easy to install. You will need some extra cable, but with a joiner, it's a simple job to do. Why spend double the price when this little beauty will do the job?

Purchased for outside the house at the back door, easy to fit for me as a lamp connection was already there. I am really pleased with this purchase.

This light was to light up a dart board in a very dark shed. It has in fact been used to light the entire 10 x 7m shed as it is bright even for this use! WOW! Super bright little light!

Packaging:Simple enough small box, and the contents is cleverly compact and packaged well.Function/Quality:For the size of this small light, it certainly gives off a bit of light! These normally are encased in a plastic shell, but this is pure solid metal. The quality of this build is pretty impressing considering the price.The biggest problem is that its hard wired with a plug already, which is great for people not confident enough to do their own wiring, but how are you supposed to get a plug through a wall without taking an entire brick out? Makes the light almost redundant as an outdoor light unless you have an outdoors plug and its protected by a waterproof enclosure.So therefore I feel this product would be more suited for indoors, since its already got a plug it will literally be plug and use. I left mine on for around 5-10 minutes and although it got warm, it was never hot so I might personally be using this when I'm doing DIY work in the evening indoors and create my own base block for it to safely stand on.This has no motion sensors which might put many people off as technically its not much use being a security light if it doesn't turn on when you aren't there!Conclusion:Its a solid little light, the plug/wiring is an issue, but if you can get past that (cut it and rewire it) then this light is pretty good. Its a shame since the build of this is fantastic.
