I've only had it for about a week and a half, but I am really surprised because my apartment is practically insect free but this flying insect trap still caught two gnats or whatever they are. When this product arrived at my house, I had one gnat that I caught a glimpse of twice flying around my TV screen. I really had no expectation that this gnat would ever find its way to this single insect trap, but after I went to bed and woke up the next day it was caught. Then I moved the insect trap closer to the bathroom because I needed the hallway electric outlet for something else. I felt like having the insect trap next to the bathroom would make it useless because I was afraid that insects never fly into that area. It seems they always fly around in my living room or kitchen. But today I found another gnat on my fly trap despite me never being aware of its presence. It caught me off guard. So that makes me feel good. This flying insect trap is going to attract and capture insects for me and one fly trap is all I need for my entire apartment. I just hope that the sticky cards last a long time. I'd like to use one sticky card for an entire year if possible. But even if they do need replaced more often, this flying insect trap comes with six (or is it seven?) sticky cards and it's so cheap only $12 for everything. Most of the other insect traps that I saw were more expensive and only had two sticky cards. Also, this flying insect trap looks great. It's not big and bulky at all. Instead, it's small and has a very thin profile and just looks great. I like the sleekness and the curves and the simple, minimal, but elegant and nice looking design. I would rate this product 10 stars if I could. And yes, this is a real review. I'm just glad that I bought this. I've wanted an insect trap for many years now, but I never knew what to get. I thought that I would need something expensive and bulky that needs refilled once a month. Who knew insect traps could be so small but be really effective? EDIT: An hour after I created this review, the fly trap caught a third gnat.

These little traps have saved my sanity! Tennessee summers are the height of Bug season!! These darn gnats are everywhere - I was so sick of swatting them away constantly, finding them in my drink if it wasnt covered and invading the soil of my plants. I treated my drains, I treated the soil and plants with peroxide and Neem, and cleaned from one end of the house to the other. Just as I would sit down to relax - they would appear again! I saw these at such an affordable price compared to those name brands that are hot at the moment, so I figured I would try them out. This was just the first night!! I put one in the kitchen and the other one in my bedroom. They are giving me my sanity back!! They also hae a little night light feature if you walk into a dark room - you just touch the center of the front (see pink arrow) and the nightlight will come on. Touch it again and it goes off. The Blue light is automatic so you dont have to worry about. that. The sticky trap attaches magnetically!! SO SIMPLE!! I am going to order more for all the rooms and for my office at work!! I would definitely recommend them. Great price point - plus it came with extra sticky traps.

I have fruit flies in my kitchen. There isn't a lot but enough to be annoying. I purchased this trap 10 days ago but I didn't plug it in until 4 days ago. It works great! It has trapped quite a few fruit flies. There is no odor, no noise and I love the blue light at night. You can also change it to a white light. It comes with extra refills!

I ordered 2 of these units they work extremely well I'm completely satisfied with them they are pleasant to look at and blend in with the environment and doesn't stand out they have 2 different modes and I have it set on an automatic mode they actually do the job and extremely easy to install I plan on buying more you won't go wrong. The cards that come with it to catch the insects are extreme stickiness and they will last a long time and they're very durable they're not flimsy whatsoever and the unit itself has a very bright light on it it's almost functions as a nightlight

I ordered the 2 pack of traps it came with 10 extra sticky magnets. It definitely gets the job done I had fruit flies in my apartment and it trapped all of them. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this item & it’s super easy to set up. The dark auto sensing feature is great too.

This fly trap is very effective in controlling gnats and other flying insects invading my home. Its easy to install, no mess and love the dual night light. Just press to change the light for safety. Excellent size and nice appearance.

I tried multiple methods of controlling drain flies before buying this. I got the regular yellow flower shaped sticky cards, i got a salt blaster thing, i tried apple cider vinegar (which worked well but is gross to look at and deal with). My mom had these in her house and they worked great for her so i gave them a shot too and i'm really glad i did. they immediately got pretty covered in bugs, more than i would have thought were in the house. i now see them much more rarely than i did before, and when i do they've probably been in the house less than 24 hours (they fly in when we open the patio door). the sticky cards are super easy to replace because they're magnetic, and it feels like a quality product. very happy!

A great little compact, multi-buy deal for the 2 pack -- shared one with my landlord who lives above. Also a good price point compared to other similar offerings.Intended for summertime support during those days of small insects flying in through opening screen doors.Great design in a compact unit, with simple operating options for setting to always on, light-sensitive detection and just for a night light. Easy to plug into an outlet out of place and streamlined enough not to interfere if placed behind furnishings etc. Not so bright as to hinder use in a bedroom environment either. Thanks Tienbe : )

I live in a semi small place as most places are these days, and the DIY of cider vinegar in water really smells my place up...and I won't ever use those sticky strips dangling in the air. This product is perfect...you can see how many bugs it caught. No smell, nice looking, inconspicuous, and a nice night light that you can turn on/off. Amazing!!

Works perfectly for bugs attracted to light, which is what I needed it for. The design is clever and and the magnet sticky sheets work well. I like the touch button to cycle it through the 3 modes and the auto turn on and shut off works well. Helping to keep down the small bugs in my rooms during the summer when I have to keep the screens open all the time.Obviously, if you have other lamps on in the area they will be competing with this trap.Considering buying another 2 pack depending on how long the devices actually last.Don't buy this for fruit flies!
