My favorite mouse
My favorite mouse. Fits my hand perfectly. I now have 3 of them -- one for my laptop docking station at work, one for my laptop docking station at home, and one for my iMac at home. Yes, it works perfectly with the Mac.A few notes:1) The scroll wheel is free-turning - no clicks or detents. I happen to like this type of mouse wheel, some don't.2) The scroll wheel is also a button - I never use that feature, but it's there.3) The scroll wheel also tilts - again, I never use that feature, but it's there.4) There are two side-buttons on the mouse - in a browser they work as forward and back buttons. Another feature I don't use, but it's there & works just fine.So what's so good about this mouse?I don't use the extra features, I just use it as a simple mouse, and for that it is terrific. It is:1) Lightweight but not too light.2) Responsive but not twitchy.3) Precise, but not gaming-level precise.4) Acceleration across the screen is just right out of the box with both Windows and Mac OS X - no need to adjust the mouse sensitivity up or down in the OS.5) It has a cord - no need to fiddle with wireless or Bluetooth settings, doesn't require batteries, and always works6) Works equally well for my left-handed relatives when they come to visit and want to use the home computer7) Scrolls perfectly for my needs - one scroll down on the mouse moves you down about 3/4 of a screen in a browser, for instance, or 1/2 a page in Word, or a full page forward (or back) in PowerPoint. Perfect for my needs. So in short - it just works.A word on fit - mice, and ergonomics are very important, and very individual. This particular mouse fits my hand very well - I'm male, about 5'10", wear a large size in gloves. If you're female, 4'8", and tiny, this mouse may not fit you. Conversely, if you're an NFL linebacker that stands 6'3" and weighs 280 lbs, this mouse may not fit you very well either. In my view, finding the right ergonomics for your computing is one of the most important things you can do if you use a computer for work every day.So... best of luck on finding the right mouse for you. This may be one of them.

Great Mouse for Office Work
This is going to be the first in-depth review that I am going to write for an Amazon product, so please bear with me. HahaOverviewI bought this little mouse to replace an 8 year old optical mouse that just looked so outdated that I just felt that I needed to get a new one to get with the times. I was looking for a corded mouse because (like many other reviewers) I didn't want to deal with replacing batteries. The package includes:-Mouse w/ the cord-Product guide-Warranty guidePerformanceAs advertised, the bluelight optical reader does a very good job at tracking on my wooden desk surface. My old mouse required a mouse pad in order to work on this surface, so seeing a different (but good) performance from this bluelight feature may just make me throw away my mousepad. The left and right clicks feel solid and the horizontal side scrolls has clicks as well. The vertical scroll, however, does not have clicks so that might become an issue for those who are looking for vertical scroll accuracy. I already had the Microsoft Mouse program installed before receiving this mouse, so everything worked well right out of the box for me.ConclusionI thought that this mouse can perform the job well for those who need to perform office tasks. Although I don't play games, I don't think this will be very suitable for gaming due to the placement of the optical light. The optical light is placed very close to the wrist, so wrist movements won't be tracked very well. However, this is very good news for those who have to use a mouse for a prolonged period of time at a desk, as this placement of the optical light kind of 'forces' you to move your elbow with the mouse. This unique feature causes less strain on the wrist, and thus, less chance of contracting carpal tunnel. Although not optimal for gaming, this feature can be quite useful for office work, as wrist sensitivity will not be required with this mouse. For those looking for a reliable, comfortable mouse to use for office work, either for at home or at work, this mouse may fit your needs.

I like its ergonomics. Fits well my big hand
For those of us who spend the whole work day in front of the computer, it is essential to have a comfortable mouse which fits nicely into the hand. I am a big guy (6' 3") with bit hands, and most computer mice feel too small. Most mice are "ergonomic" these days, which usually means there is a sidecut on its left side, with the idea that your palm rests on the mouse while the thumb goes into the sidecut. For me, the sidecut is typically too deep. I feel strain in my thumb if I pull it in as far as to touch the surface of the sidecut and the buttton on it (if any). This mouse is on the bigger side of sizing overall, and the sidecut is not as pronounced. It fits nicely into my hand. Just recently, I went to Best Buy and tried every mouse that they had on display, including business and gaming mice. None of them was a good fit. I looked up the name of the product on one of my old, comfortable mice, and - my lucky day! - discovered that it is still available.Feel and fit of a mouse is a strictly personal thing. I would very much recommend it for people who, like I am, feel that most mice are too small or not the right shape to fit into their palms.Aside from the fit, it is a very basic wired mouse, without any thrills, priced like any other basic wired mouse. There is nothing to break in an optical mouse, really. The other mouse which I have served me well for probably 3-5 years already. So far, so good - and I expect the same performance from the new one.
