Nautica 28" Expandable Spinner Luggage, Grey/Black

Poor design.1. Flimsy construction, corrugated plastic frame. Was broken before its first trip (see hereunder)2. Unstable. The front wheels are positioned too far back; so when loaded, the front protrudes too far in front of the wheel and the case is not stable. I doubt it would stand with the extension opened and the case full.3. No side handle, only one on the top. A case of this size needs a side handle from lifting it or removing from a trunk.It did not make it to the airport. I had just packed it for its first trip. I needed to lift it and was looking for a handle I expected to be the side. I leaned a little on the suitcase while looking and heard a "pop". The inside corrugated plastic bottom had cracked and now the base of one of the wheels was bending, as a result, the case started tipping over when loaded.

Just got this, but I think it's well worth the money. It's hard to find traditional wheels there days, but they're less likely to break off when being handled roughly at the airport, so I really prefer them. One nice thing about this bag is the edges of the striping are light-reflective, which is a safety feature. Zippers seem nice, and the interior has the dividers my husband likes when he travels. Glad I bought this. Oh - took off one star cause the wheels aren't quite as smooth as my other bags.

I have made a few trips with the luggage (California to Washington, Washington to Hawaii and Hawaii to California). The front pocket zipper is busted during the flight from Washington to Hawaii. The front pocket significantly frayed from the trip from Hawaii to California. At this rate, I did not expect the luggage to last long.

Not that it’s the bag’s fault, but on it’s first outing it’s already lost two zipper tabs and the yellow has turned from a gorgeous yellow to a dingy grey/brown yellow (I guess that’s why most bags are black?) As for the bag itself...it has a huge main compartment that seems to be perfectly sized to reach 50 lbs when full of clothes. Wheels are nice but don’t swivel. Do I like the bag? Yes. It’s visually striking and easy to identify. Would I buy it again? No, not after I saw what color it turned after one use.

LOVE that this has traditional wheels. (I hate when the new 4-wheel-style bags roll all over the place on the shuttle or pretty much on any non-level surface.) Has a few compartments, which my husband really likes. Colorful stripe is distinctive for picking out at baggage claim. I deducted one star because the wheels aren't high-end, they're just average quality.

Terrible design. Lack durability and stability. With 50lbs inside this bag cannot stand straight without leaning on something. The wheels are not study. I will not recommend it.

Great piece of luggage! I never fly commercially so this should last me a long time. The best thing is, I could get this nice Nautica piece without having to buy a 4 piece set, which I would never use.

Beautiful light weight and sturdy. Can’t wait to travel with it. I finally have my “own” bag
