I recently purchased these gel pads for my Bose QC Ultra headphones, and I'm thoroughly impressed with the product. Installation was fairly easy. Use the tool to pry the old pads off and then click in the new pads. Package comes with the main tool and a dropper if needing to drop water on the pads to enhance the cooling but I didn't feel the need. There are also extra scrim mats if needed but instructions recommended to leave the originals and mine were fine so unless yours is peeling or ripped then I would replace them. The one flaw is that the cutout of the inner circle of the pads are slightly smaller than the originals and since the originals are already smaller than other headphones which barely fit my ears inside, these were more tight around my ears. This isn't a big flaw but it is noticeable with how I fit my ears inside the pads but the cooling effect is there and I recommend letting them sit for a while and then put them on to feel the cool first before your ears heat up but the material on these pads will maintain the temperature unlike the originals. I'll be glad if new versions are made that they can measure the original Bose pads and just measure them exact to make these pads fit like the originals because the outside measurements are fine as they fit the frame of the earpads but its just the inner measurements where your ears have to fit inside is what needs to be upgraded. Overall, the pads feel good and sound isn't changed at all.

These earpads are ok, but not for me. I have pretty big ears and since the opening on these replacement earpads are smaller than the original earpads, it is not as comfortable for me. Also, for the cooling effect, the earpads have to be wet. I am not sure I would be confident in putting water so close to my headphones. Finally, the color of the earpads are slight whiter than the original earpads, so they do not match the headphones exactly.

While the listing says they only fit QuietComfort ULTRA headphones, one of the reviewers mentioned they also worked for their QC 25 headphones. I have a set of QuietComfort headphones--no Ultra or 25 or anything else. These DO NOT fit that style, as they attach completely differently.I won't knock stars off the product for that, but wanted to review so others could see that they definitely don't work with all other QuietComfort models.

These do a great job of making your ears less roasty. If you do much walking outside, or wear them in a hot environment, these are well worth considering.

I workout for 1.5 hours and these are quite comfortable. I still experience sweating under the ear pads but that is expected because I'm doing high intensity or heavy weight lifting. Overall these are comfy and work fine with my bose.

I had no problems replacing my original ear pads with these. The package comes with a tool to help pry up and remove the original pads. You then simply press these in and they’ll snap in place. The cooling gel foam is more stiff than the original OEM pads and I haven’t really noticed a difference in the passive noise isolation. When you first put them on, they definitely feel cool which is actually a really nice feeling. However, after maybe 15 or so minutes, you’ll notice that they no longer feel as cool. There’s an included pipette that you can use to add a few drops of water to the pad to help it cool more but I did not try it (seems weird to add water but if it works?). Besides the slightly more stiffer material, the other thing to note is that the ear opening seems slightly smaller than the original. That, or the fact that it’s stiffer might make it seem smaller. Either way, if you have big ears, you might not like the pad pushing on or squeezing in your ear.

Unfortunately, these did not fit my older pair of QC 35 headphones....which are in desperate need of new earpads! i will say that unpacking these and handling them did give a great impression that they are well made and would make excellent replacement pads. I'm going to hang onto them in the event that I upgrade my current pair to the ultra, these will be great to have on hand! I think the price is fair considering the cost of the Bose headphones.

Dopo nemmeno un anno, uno dei cuscinetti originali si è rotto, ho provato questo ricambio e sono molto soddisfatto: i cuscinetti sono davvero ben fatti e favoriscono una temperatura più confortevole e fresca. Il montaggio è semplicissimo e il kit completo è curato.

They are amazingly soft, but the pads are wider than original so they sit against my ears in a equally unamazing sort of way. If you have smaller ears I'd give these 5/5, if you have bigger its a 1/5.

Ich sitze 8 Stunden im Büro und muss wegen dem Lärm eigentlich durchgehend Ohrstöpsel oder noise cancelling benutzen. Ich konnte nie Kopfhörer länger als 30 Minuten ertragen, ohne dass meine Ohren anfingen zu brennen (es ist Hochsommer). Diese Muscheln aber fühlen sich beim anziehen wirklich sehr schön kalt an, das Kältegefühl bleibt auch ein paar Minuten nach dem Anlegen. Nach längerer Tragezeit wird es allerhöchstens warm, weil die Abwärme gut abgeleitet wird.Scheinbar lässt sich die Kühlwirkung maximieren indem man die Muscheln nass macht, die Verpackung liefert sogar Pipette und Anleitung. Für schrecklich heiße Sommertage absolut toll!Die Muschel-Öffnungen sind aber definitiv kleiner als das Original, man braucht ein bisschen mehr Mühe, um eine gemütliche Position zu finden. Unten wird auch das Ohrläppchen (kaum störend) eingedrückt. Aber das ergibt auch Sinn, immerhin soll die Abwärme ja weg. Dennoch 1 Stern Abzug.Ich bin Brillenträger, und muss auch die Brillen-Bügel ein wenig nach oben verlagern, sonst drückt es unangenehm nach längerem Tragen. Dieses Drück-Gefühl setzt jedoch deutlich später ein als die Überhitzung mit den Original-Muscheln.Mir gefällt der Stoff (sanfte Mikrofaser )viel besser als dünne Kunstleder der Original-Muscheln.Wem die Hitze ein Größeres Problem ist, als dass es ein bisschen mehr drückt, für den sind diese Muscheln perfekt. Ohne diese Muscheln waren die Bose Kopfhörer im Sommer fast nicht zu gebrauchen.
