AIRHEADGrapnel Anchor System

We were beaching our waverunners and getting a lot of scratches on the gel coat. I bought this little anchor which takes up very little room and comes with a carry bag. I was skeptical but it grabs on quick and holds two Yamaha VX HO waverunners in place. I am very impressed with this little anchor.

I have used this several times, and I highly suggest this anchor. With COVID, it took the an extra week to get this anchor, but it was well worth the wait. It is sturdy, and can handle anchoring two paddle boards and a kayak in place in mild wind (below 15 miles an hour). I did read several of the previous reviews, and I would suggest the following modifictions.First modification would be to change out the type of rope. This does not need to be done right away, but I have already seen the rope begin to fray after several uses. The rope is made of a polyester blend, and if caught on anything, can begin to rip.The second modification would be to make the main tie of the rope to the botton of the anchor, then zip tie the top of the anchor to the rope. This will allow you to retrieve the anchor in case it is stuck. I personally have not had to an incident, where this was an issue, but the mechanics of the system does make sense.

This anchor works for our jetski. I like the bag and the fact that it doesn’t take up much space.

Used this to anchor two skis in deeper and shallow water has grabbed each time. Folding design is nice to save space.

Perfect for my PWC!!! Secures well on sandy bottoms so you can anchor your JetSki where you don't have to beach it and get sand and debris in the impeller housing!!!

This 3.5lb anchor comes with everything a kayaker or small boat operator needs and is easy to access and use! I use this anchor on an 11-foot kayak without an anchor trolly and it works perfectly. The quick release latch and float is a must for safety... if you are kayaking and a speedboat cruises by and causes a wake, you simply unhook the latch, toss your rope in the water, and row your kayak back to the float to retrieve your anchor after the water has calmed. Additionally, the 3.5lb anchor is easy to retrieve and you won't rock your small boat trying to pull the anchor back in. Highly recommended for small boat or kayak users.
