I love these! I got them to help me flip omelets and they are now my go-to favorite cooking utensils! They are extremely high quality--so much so that I was really surprised when I received them, I just wasn't expecting such a nice product for the price! They are so thick and sturdy, and have a very good thick coating of I guess mineral oil on them so they are pretty much "seasoned" and already non-stick (which I was not expecting), and they are super smooth (no splinters) and the wood is very shiny and beautiful. I also feel that they are well-balanced and just feel nice in my hands. I enjoy cooking with them. They say to handwash only in mild dishsoap (I wouldnt soak them either, just wipe quickly after using & wipe dry and then you can let air dry) and wipe down with food grade mineral oil once a month to keep them in their pristine condition and these should last a lifetime! I really love these, the quality was unexpected & they are a true joy to have in my kitchen!

I ordered these because they are natural wood. My father and his immediate family immigrated here from post war Germany and he promised himself that when he got to America he would never go hungry again. He taught me how to cook and how to appreciate good food he always used wooden utensils whenever possible because he said it is gentler on whatever you are cooking. I used the smaller one to scrambled eggs and it performed wonderfully. Highly recommended.23 August 2024By the way......... wood will deteriorate. Plastic lasts forever in the landfill, longer than nuclear waste! This is what I meant by Environmentally conscious.

Wow - these spatulas are thick and solid! Nice wood, nice shape. These are literally the only spatulas I will ever use again, so cool that I can't even call them "spatulas" as it downplays these pieces of functional art!

Excellent quality and very smooth in the hand. I use them to mix up my horse’s feed/soaked pellets and supplements

These are now my go to spatulas for anything on the stove. I tend to prefer the longer one as my hand catches too much sizzling oil with the shorter one, but it's still good for sauces and such. Even though I don't soak them, and hand wash and dry immediately after cooking, they seem to need mineral oil every couple weeks. Maybe that's just a testament to how much I'm using them.
