John Fardell up to his usual loveliness
It's a pleasure to add yet another five star rating to a John Fardell book. My whole large family is now hooked on the work of this comic genius. This book has a stunning moment when young Jeremiah Jellyfish, first seen with his HUGE jellyfish family turns from drifting to swimming and is suddenly ALONE in the great green ocean. Two of the best illustrations I have ever seen. Works of art! Then Jeremiah dons a trilby and starts a new life as CEO of a company making rocket planes. But I won't spoil it for you - go out and buy it. John Fardell's are the best children's books ever, not just because they are simply eminently enjoyable at so many levels, but because your children will go on demanding they be read to them, over and over again. I have a seven years old grandson who has been hooked on Maddie the Baddie since he was three. It remains his favourite bedtime story. Well done again, John. Long may you continue to bless us with books like this one.

Brilliant!
I borrowed this book from the library on the recommendation of a list that was published by Bookstart. I think it was included in the "Treasure Chest" that is handed out to three year olds. The children, aged 2 and 3.5, loved it so much that we bought our own copy. The storyline is brilliant, about a jellyfish named Jeremiah who swam against the tide, so to speak. He dared to be different. My husband and I love reading this book to the children as well, so everyone is happy. My favourite line from the book is "but sometimes it's good to just drift".Highly recommend as you will probably get requests for it to be read often.

Disappointing. Not John Fardel at his best. : (
We loved (like read every night for a fortnight, LOVED) 2 other John Fardell books but this one was disappointing. It lacks the 'craftsmanship' and humour of the 2 other books (the day Louis got eaten & managed the baddie). Very disappointed and it made no impression on the kids either. : (

Loved Fardell's drawings in Viz (modern parents
Superb. Loved Fardell's drawings in Viz (modern parents, critics etc). This was purchased after receiving The Day Louis Got Eaten as a gift for a 3 year old and doesn't disspaoint. Quite excellent illustration and a moral tale to boot.

Great story!
Typical John Fardell story (adventure, science, engineering, trying something different), great for young kids (or additional support needs pupils as I used it for) and a real feel-good ending... Well done Mr Fardell!

Amazing book
My son loves this book. The illustrations are lovely and overtime you notice more and more interesting things in the pictures. Enjoyable for children and adults alike

Jeremiah Jellyfish
A story to be read to the not-yet-reading child where there are plenty of secondary characters to point out while telling the main story
