It looks well-made, and right away I tried ripping through a scrap of hickory. Slowly but surely, it cut through. I’m more or less a beginner woodworker, but I feel like it came pretty dang sharp and ready to cut just about anything. It was easy to use, and I’ve never sawed wood by hand before. I quickly start to get a feel for it by trying different techniques and noticing how the saw and the wood respond. Also, if you flick the blade, it makes a super sweet ringing sound! If you’re using this to build guitars like I am, it doubles as a percussion instrument. It will make some cool samples.
