Get ready for a steep learning curve.
I’m not going to try to create a long, detailed description of the difficulties incurred in using this printer. I would just say this, you’re going to have to use some ink and some paper or photo paper before you become comfortable getting good images. It is not up to the quality of its predecessor the Epson 1430.

broken and scratches, roller did not work
I returned this last week at the UPS Store and I have not received a new replacement yet, or any information regarding my return I have my receipt that I sent it to the sellers address from the UPS Store.

Nice printer!
This is the second time I have purchased this printer. It is excently quality and does a great job printing both black and white text and color pictures. Printer was easy to set up and worked well right out of the box.

Extremely impressive. Ridiculously inexpensive. Always accurate. BUT!
Oh my what a good wide format printer, capable of 18” printing!!THE CATCH:While the Epson ink is fairly cheap for this model, it is getting ridiculously hard to find. Dunno why. This might indicate plans for discontinuation. The latest Epson after this one in the same class just released recently is more sophisticated but its largest print size is 17”.

Unnecessarily pricey
This epson is a great printer I ended up buying elsewhere since it was so pricey. Lesson learned check actual stores before browsing Amazon.
