These were just as described. Unfortunately, I lack the skill to install them myself and wrecked one of my son's PS5 controllers 🙁 The good news is I have a friend who works in the electronics industry. He was able to install them in the spare controller, and they ended up working out perfectly. There is no more stick drift, and the response time seems to be better than the factory controller.

These worked great. Had no issues. Used low melt solder to remove old ones, wicked solder off with flux and solder wick, cleaned with 99% IPA, resolder into place. Used software to calibrate. No issues.

Great sticks. This repair is fairly advanced. If you have the equipment and skill to remove the original sticks, these go on easy peasy. The trick is getting the original sticks off without damaging anything. You MUST run the config app on them or they will seem borked at first try.

Excellent product for the price. After calibration, functions flawlessly. You should note, that the sticks do have a slight creakiness as you use them (although they are still very anyways I write this), but it's barely noticeable at all as you play unless you look for it. I honestly wanted to give a 4.5 stars, because that creakiness is the absolute only issue with these sticks.Two things to keep in mind. First, when calibrating, you will want to move the sticks hard as you rotate them or they won't register the full range of motion. Second, you're going to need soldering skills. I wouldn't attempt this upgrade to anyone who has little or no soldering experience.

I bought them and had them installed for me at a gaming store. They work very well I don't have to worry about replacing them anymore. If have a bad controller don't throw it away they are very expensive. Install these and your worries are gone.

1 unit dead on arrival. Mostly fixed stick drift. Difficult to set center. Final result is twitchy movement with no input. If you're considering these, just get TMRs.
