Stable
It was a bit long for me at 5’4” so I took a handsaw to it and shortened it. I get many compliments on it, it is aesthetically pleasing. It is sturdy, my only complaint would be that the handle loosens wit use but that is easily tightened.I only have to use this a bit longer post-surgery but it was quickly spoken for once I no longer need it!

Attractive substitute for the every day metal adjustable type.

Medium Duty
This is a nice cane, looks good, and the handle has a bit of tactility to the finish so it doesn't slide around if your hand gets sweaty. What I am not too thrilled about is that it is not one piece. The handle screws onto the shaft with what looks and feels like a heavy duty screw, but if I an having a really bad balance day and need to leave the house, I am going to choose one of my other canes that are one piece.

Could've killed me.
Purchased for my knee replacement surgery. Third full day of use and it snapped in 2 places while I was going down stairs. I have no idea how I managed to not fall, but the strain on my knee was excruciating. I'm 6'2" and 230 lbs. I'm not a petite, but I'm not a behemoth. I wasn't using it as a lever, there shouldn't have been enough lateral force applied for it to break like this. It scared the crap out of me.

Took ok vacation on the 4th and tip is already destroyed!
I like the look, sturdiness, feel of actual cane. But to replace the tip so soon!? The tip must not be quality...ripped the bottom again. Oh not won't mess with it again!

Lifesaver!
I was walking my dog recently and this cane prevented me from having a fall. At my age, a fall can be fatal or result in a long and expensive stay in a hospital. This product is strong, inexpensive and far more attractive than the canes found in my local drug or department stores. Both my old dog and I highly recommend it.

Grampy Loves It Even With It’s Flaw!
The media could not be loaded. My husband doesn’t have to use a cane very often but when he needs one he really needs one! So I saw this lovely wooden cane and thought it looked stylish & sturdy so I got it for him.It is really very nice looking and very sturdy fits him perfectly height-wise.I love that it can support his weight and the derby styled handle makes it more comfortable for his hand. The carvings on the cane itself are beautiful and look very spiffy! My only concern is where the handle joins to the cane. I know these are hand carved so I do appreciate the time that the craftsman took to make this cane. However the ends in both the cane & derby handle are very jagged and rough looking and tiny shards of wood fell off when I was screwing the handle onto the cane. Then when I had tightened the handle up you can see in my above video & photos how it is not very pretty where the handle joins onto the cane! But Grampy doesn’t care about that little detail he only cares that it’s strong enough to support his weight and height comfortably! I will do a little DIY around the jagged joint of the handle and cane I will probably use some kind of decorative duct tape just wide enough to cover up the jagged cracks so they won’t be noticeable and it will be “personalized” by me! But like I said Grampy’s doesn’t care about aesthetics he just wants to be able to use it when he needs a good cane!So overall it is a pretty cane, it does seem to be durable and also fashionable and he loves it so I love it too! Thanks for reading my review and I hope I’ve been helpful! Take care!
