I'm an absolute absolute paddleboarding beginner. If you are too, then this review is for you.I'd read a bunch of reviews about this and to be fair I think those are from more advanced users. And most don't apply to beginners.The things I liked:1. Easy to fill up- The pump is single action and takes me exactly 5 minutes (i timed it) to fill the board to 12psi. The pump feels like a reasonable quality piece of kit. Not too good but not too rubbish either. A lot of people have complained about the pump in other reviews, i didn't find any reason to complain. Infact I'd bought an attachment to connect the board to my car inflator but haven't felt the need to use it.2. The colours - it is a beautiful looking board. The colours are vibrant and the board is very eye catching. Ofcourse this can be very subjective.3. It feels well built - nothing on the board feels cheap. The quality of the handle, the bungee cord, the inlet valve all feel like heavy duty.4. Very stable and easy to maneuver - it is extraordinarily stable. Ideal if you're a beginner. Not to say that i didn't fall off of it. I did. But its a very stable board otherwise and generates a sense of confidence for a new boarder.5. Carrying capacity - the picture is of one such test. 4 women. Totaling up to about 170 kg. Didn't seem like a problem. Rated at about 150kgs.6. 3 fin setup - gives you choices and options for stability and maneuverability. The only board in this range where i saw the option for 3 fins.Things that could be better1. The bag - its a low quality unbranded, plain black bag. Not sure how long this will last but it just about does the job for now. EDIT - I contacted customer service about the poor quality of the bag and how it was starting to get damaged and they were very very responsive - they offered me an option for their grey carry bag - which you see on the listing or a $30 refund to purchase my own bag - I have opted for the latter. Will update this review as and when I receive the new bag. Irrespective a huge thumbs up for CC responsiveness and customer focus.2. The leash - should've been a little longer or a telephone cord type. It gets caught in the fins sometimes. Especially when you're getting back on after hitting the drink and you have 3 fins on. You also can only comfortably mount from one side - depending on which foot you're wearing the leash on.3. The valve - on my second use, after pumping it up, as soon as i released the inlet hose the valve let pretty much all of the air out. This was fixed with a valve tightening tool that comes in the bag. I was just a bit surprised to see this on such a new board. Perhaps this happens often. As a noob i don't really know if this is an issue.These are very minor issues compared to the massive pluses for this board. Real steal if you get it around $200.

I recently purchased this FEATH-R-LITE inflatable paddle board and have already received it. I am very satisfied with both its appearance and accessories, and the packaging was intact. This board has all the features I like, light, well finned, and perfect size. I had two problems. This is my second board from this maker and the fin system on my first was a different style and worked very easily. I could not install the fin. Customer service was quick to respond with a video, and later with fin replacements. In a world of long wait times, I really appreciate that; 5 stars! But neither addressed the real problem. The problem, as noted in an insert, is that the fin base gets bent from packaging, which they say will improve after several uses. But the fin can’t be installed so it is hard to use. After having invested a couple of hours, I was able to insert fins by pouring somewhat hot water (or try a blowdryer) on the base and by prying the tabs (see picture) downward. After the board had set a few days with the fin installed, it was easy to insert and remove it. The other problem is having loops on the side, presumable to install a seat. But every once in a while I would let my paddle slide along the board, it would catch, and that would propel me forward in a fall. Neither my wife nor I had fallen in three years; I fell twice and her three times. However, it was pretty easy to slice these off of the side and after that we had no more problems. All in all, I am happy with my final product after a little extra effort.

The board is very stable and easy to balance on, making it perfect for beginners. It's also lightweight and inflates quickly, which is great for when we want to take it on a spontaneous trip to the lake.The material feels durable, and despite a few bumps into the pool's edge, it has held up well without any signs of damage. I love that it comes with a convenient carrying case and a pump, so packing it up and transporting it is hassle-free.We’ve had a lot of fun using this paddleboard both in the pool and on calm rivers. The kids enjoy it, and it's a great workout for adults. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a reliable and versatile paddleboard that’s easy to store and use.

1st order- Red Koi board:This is a great paddleboard! We're beginners, but this board has been fantastic! Everything in working order. Fins easy to put on and take off. The pump doesn't start registering until around 5 PSI, which takes a lot more pumping than you'd think! Keep pumping!!! The pump does the job, but we're considering getting an electric one, so we're not exhausted before we get on the board😄This board is eye-catching and looks so cool on the water.2nd order- Blue Monkey board: Love the board, but the fins are so difficult to put on! Something must be wrong with them because they will not fit into the groves easily like our other paddleboards.So frustrating!! We did some research with other brands on the internet and what we discovered was by using a hair dryer for 3-5 minutes directed at the fin base that is attached to the fully-inflated paddleboard, the plastic softened and allowed the fins to easily slide into place. We left them on while the plastic cooled to hold that new shape. Worked brilliantly.*** Would be interested in getting additional keys that lock the fins into place since these are so easy to lose and break.
