Influenced by an influencer to give this a try. I love elf makeup usually, and this is my favorite purchase by far. This is the prettiest foundation I own. The color is great, the coverage is really good and buildable. It isnt super full coverage, but a light second layer in my cheeks covers all my redness. It looks like a filter and it wears well all day. And a little goes a long way! It will last for a reasonable amount of time. I also feel like it’s very forgiving. I can slap it on with my fingers in a hurry, or I can carefully apply with my brush or sponges. Seriously love this and I hope they never get rid of it!

Elf have great products and this foundation is a good one. I have seen so many good reviews online raving about it, and I own the previous version that sadly elf is discontinuing. I decided to try it and I have to say I was a bit dissapointed. Don't get me wrong, it is good for every day use, it is really good, but it isn't better than the previous version, the flawless satin foundation (see picture).What I like about it is that it is very lighweight, it feels like you are not wearing anything. It blends super fast and easy. The shade range is phenomenal, you will find your match for sure and mine was perfect for my skintone. It has a beautiful satin finish that makes your skin look healthy.What I dislike is that it has less coverage than what I expected. It says medium but it is not quite there and you can't build it too much because it looks cakey. I have some acnee marks and some discoloration and I have to use a full coverage concealer underneath because they will show thru the foundation and I didn't have this issue with the previous version, that was also medium coverage, but it covered my discoloration and it was buildable. This one also looses in comparison with the previous one in packaging. The old Flawless Satin Foundation came in a frosted glass bottle with a pump which I prefer to this plastic tube.In conclusion, this is a good product at an excellent price point and I believe a lot of people will like it. I will definitely use it but I don't think I will buy it again for the reasons mentioned above. There are other foundations I like more at a comparable price and I will continue to buy the old formula as long as it is available.

It's smooth and light, I can't really feel it. I don't really smell anything drastic. For one of the lightest shades it is a nice color. Effective coverage of the skin, it seems to work great. Good price!

I was hoping to like this, but it wasn't meant to be. My first time trying it was pretty bad. It clung to dryer spots, sunk into any crease or pore, and looked heavy. It is a lighter coverage but somehow still looked heavy/cakey in areas. I really wanted this to work, so I put extra effort into my skin prep. I used a sponge and less product. It still looked patchy. It sunk into my smile lines, forehead lines, and around my nose. I tried for a third time with a more gripping primer, sponge and brush, and grail powder. It just seemed no matter what combo of product I used, it didn't look good. If I can get a nice even application, I think it would be a pretty foundation.

I ordered two shades to be safe, color matched, loved this product.so easy to blend and build on. felt light weight and long lasting. After application i started sweating and luckily this lasted through the whole night. left a nice natural glow but did not look oily.

Lightweight foundation goes on like silk. Medium/light coverage. One of my favorite foundations to date. Color match was perfect. I have combination skin and it performs well!

I have tried 21 and 25. Both are light neutrals that lean towards warm/slightly yellow, but it blends like a skin tint so minimal undertone mismatches don't show if not worn heavy all over. Really perfect if you don't want to look like you're wearing foundation at all, just evening the skin. Needs concealer to spot treat to fully cover any blemishes and stay undetectable. The right concealer in places + this looks flawless, great no-makeup makeup.It could use a smoothing primer if you have texture, but great for keeping the face looking like skin and not foundation. It doesn't make texture look worse, imo, but doesn't smooth it either. It stays on with light perspiration fairly well, but I wish it was a true long-wear, 16+ hour product. I'm sure with the right primer the staying power will work for hot weather, it's not bad. If you're very oily, Maybelline Skin Tint would last longer and has a similar consistency, but not as good a shade range for light neutrals.
