It really does its job on addressing the brain (central) and some peripheral-level needs of hormonal event such as PMS but not so much on the skin-level. I would still take it for its solid benefits though.

The Brain dietary supplement by Nedley Health has n expiration date of 3/2026. The capsules are small and easy to swallow. I do not detect any taste or unpleasant odor. One capsule contains vitamin B6 2,941% recommended daily allowance (RDA), Biotin 3,333% RDA, and Zinc 182% RDA. instructions say take one a day, then increase the dose to up to 5 capsules a day as needed. Considering 5 capsules a day would really be taking much larger quantities of each ingredient, one should have oversight by their health care provider. The company has a warning on the bottle to inform the consumer of consulting with their health care provider when using this as well as a caution statement about not taking other supplements that contain B6, Zinc, and Biotin with this supplement. I really like the formula and how it is targeted for cognitive function. Nedley Health makes other formulas as well which have me interested, such as a Calm formula and Focus Formula. I like that the formula is physician developed and made in the USA- I couldn’t find where it is made on the bottle, but it does say this on the Amazon description page for the Brain formula in the chart when you scroll down.

I think it is a good way to get two vitamins (the P5P form of Vitamin B6 and biotin) and a mineral (zinc) in good amounts contained in single small capsules. I also like that, while the upfront cost is a bit high, you get 90 capsules in a bottle, or a three-month supply. I like to take a zinc supplement, but I am wary of getting too much through diet and supplementation, so I like that the amount in this is 20 mg. It's a good amount but not too much. I am also very interested in biotin, which seems to be gaining rapidly in popularity for different reasons. Vitamin B6 is a supplement I've been taking as a standalone for a long time, and I've read good things about the P5P form, so having that in this ticks that box nicely. Mostly, though, I like the promise of these ingredients synergistically. We'll have to wait and see what, if any, positive effect it has, and, as always, it is important to keep researching these things. But overall, I think this is a good supplement.
