Simple and affordable *by M***M on March 25, 2019* This is going to be a “initial impressions” review and I will do a follow up over the next 30 days to let you know how things work out. First off, this case is very thin and extremely light weight. I’m a little concerned with its durability but I do take very good care of my electronics so this case should do the job. You will want to invest a couple dollars in a good screen protector if you don’t have one already. The front cover is a smooth material and it appears to provide sufficient coverage but having the extra security of a glass protector is a good call out. I like the smoked rear cover. I purchased the gray and it really makes the iPad back cover stand out. It doesn’t have much texture to it so you’ll want to make sure to keep a good grip on your iPad. I read some reviews where iPads were dropped and screens cracked. I wouldn’t relate this directly to the cover but it could be a factor. If you’re planning to use your iPad outdoors regularly you’d most likely prefer something heavier duty like UAG or Otterbox.
