Such an adorable owl. It a nice little outdoor night light.

So, I will start with the positive. The solar owl is adorable. painted nicely and a decent size. The negative is that the solar light does not last 6 to 8 hours. My solar owl only last two to four hours. I wish it was a dusk to dawn. I still love it anyway.

We put this little guy out in the backyard on our picnic table and it's a cute piece. There is no assembly required. I actually wanted to take the light out and put some rocks in the bottom to add some bottom weight to it for wind protection, but the light assembly does not remove. I was able to throw some sand through the holes in the bottom. The sand does not affect the lovely light pattern that shines through the holes at night. I really enjoy looking at this at night as well as in the daytime.

The first one looked really nice but didn’t work. Don’t plan on ever replacing the rechargeable battery because the solar panel unit is glued in with some very strong glue for some reason. The replacement had paint runs all over it and didn’t look good at all but did work. I like the way these look but lacking in quality control.

The owl solar light that I received does not appear to me as being a "NEW" item, looks like a "USED" item . It came in a cardboard box with no wrapping inside or instructions sheet. Top of the owls's solar top is dirty and no plastic film was protecting the top which led me to believe this item has been used which I cannot accept.

I was so excited to get this owl. It worked perfectly with the solar panel to light up at night and make the owl itself and the light given off through the cutouts create a lovely decorative effect.However, the product is extremely light in weight and the ceramic is tremendously delicate and thin. Which, unfortunately, caused it to tip over and break the second night I had it when we had a small gust of wind. I was really disappointed this happened.My recommendation would be to get durable Velcro or something that you could affix to both the bottom of the product and the surface you would put it on outside.I had the product on an outdoor table, and it broke when the wind tipped it over on the table. I initially placed it directly on the ground, but this did not allow for as nice of the light radiating at night. Had I kept it on the ground, it still would have fallen over with the wind gust but perhaps may not have broken, though no matter where you place it, it should not tip over so easily with a light wind gust.To be clear about the wind, it was about a 15mph gust. I've lived through many hurricanes, so you get to know wind rather well and what needs to be taken down and put away when. I no longer live in the state I went through countless tropical systems in, but the knowledge stays with you. This was not a storm. It was a day where there was a short period of some approximately 15mph gusts, if that, and no rain. It was not an expected weather event where you would take precautions. The piece is truly that delicate.Again, it's beautiful, but should you buy it, take steps to secure it.I don't know if I'll order another to replace it. It's a little high priced for the quality. Definitely disappointed.Really should only have given two stars, but the product looks as described and is very pretty lit up at night. It's just not made durable enough for an outdoor product, particularly when one of the images in the listing shows the product in the rain.

This is a cute solar powered lighted owl with glossy finish made to look like ceramic glaze. Small solar panel powers the light. The colors are pretty and design is attractive day or night. The owl is very light-weight and should be secured if placed outdoors on a shelf, or it might actually 'fly' through the wind. Recommend.

I love solar decorations! This one is a bit cuter in the picture than it is in real life. However, it is really cute and quite bright. You just take it out of the box, push the button and then you are good to go.
